When I was 6 yrs. old, I listened to a TV ad (Casa Pedro Domecq) and I asked my mum what kind of music was that. She told me: "Spanish music...and who plays the guitar...? Paco de Lucía...I think." Now I'm 52 and I'm a flamenco dancer, I teach children and adults and I always told them that Paco de Lucía was my soundtrack flamenco. I fell in love with his guitar, he awakened the flamenco in me...and since then I found myself through flamenco. No one will be like the maestro. The GOAT!

I love the ways Paco used his falsetas in Bulerias, also the return home, i mean when the key mode changes than back home on the cadence, it's easy on the eye but to be able to improvise without getting lost or losing the rythme, takes years and years of daily practice, it's a discipline and gymnastique for the head and the hands, many people say that it's too hard to make a living with music and it should stay just like a hobby, but I've never been to That, i practice at home to get ready once i face the public, i rarely play for my self cause something misses ! Mr Ruben do you think it's important to expand our musicality outside home (in front of a public) knowing that not everyone aim towards Professionalism ?

In my case music used to be my job, but now I elevated it to my hobby! Working not everybody likes... but hobby is done out of love.
Next you can se the fantastic amount I get from CZcams bit.ly/3db5dP0 for this channel with 7 years of watching time a month etc etc etc, meaning that I do what I do for live of music, and no matter our level at playing if done sincerely it will channel your own creative potential at once and elevate your being as no other art would Adel.
You can do the experiment for a month yourself {all homework's of students are unlisted videos. and my study program is done with just 20 min of daily practice}

se ve que al publico le costo ponerse de pie al final del concierto..................ya para el 2011 por ay que fue mi ultimo concierto al cual asisti de Paco, el publico se ponia de pie al no mas el salir al escenario para iniciar su Rondena'.
A mi entender, Paco de Lucía, Jorge Pardo y Carles Benavent son inigualables. Vale, Jorge y Carles un poco por debajo, pero solo porque Paco es Paco.
