The staple ritual for the Asatru Religion is the blot. The blot is the center point of focus for the Asatru kindred gathering. The Northwoods Kindred just had our January gathering so we decided to film our Forsetti blot and share it with you. Also there is a lot more information about the Asatru Religion and the Asatru Kindred in general. SUBSCRIBE for more heathen and pagan content that no one else will show you.
All the books in this link I personally recommend. There is also a link to a new aged section of more modern titles and interpretations. Additionally we have a tab with alter gear that you might be interested in, and we are always adding products and categories that may appeal to you.

Beautifully done your a wonderful inspiration thank you
Thank you for watching. We are happy to fill this void on CZcams. Seems that everyone that knows how to do it a little is trying to sell a course or made up certification. And everyone that is teaching it for free is just making it up (some really off the mark). We are happy to show for FREE what are the accepted practices of the greater Asatru community and some of the minor tweaks we do to make it personal for our Kindred.
Absolutely beautiful and sooo peaceful! This what I think of with rituals like this. Not some shirtless guy with face paint screaming so loud you can't hear the words ugh. Love the video!
Thank you, we have many more examples of how we do rituals and kinship. Welcome here.
I have been trying to find a kindred here in Orlando Florida because that's where I live but I like you guys cause you're channel and your can you just calls out to me I wish I could be there be in member with you guys
May the gods favor you! Hello from Russian Asatru followers. It warms my heart to see videos about my religion on youtube. Keep up the good work!

Great advice all around. Thanks for the video on this. Looking forward to the family blot version.
thanks for watching
Thank you so much for sharing what your version of the Blot is. It was helpful to see it. I have done nothing but solitary since discovering Norse Paganism.
Hope that helps you on your journey.
Thanks for sharing this and talking about it. Our kindred does much the same thing. We have a small Facebook group for discussing the preparations. Down here in the south, we tend to do blot at night, because of the heat, especially when we want a fire involved. If we send something, then we break it down and do that in the morning, and then blot when the food is ready. I'm really impressed by what y'all are doing. Thanks again for sharing it.
That's our pleasure, we enjoy showing our way and have made many more friends than we ever would have thought in this short amount of time.
This video was so awesome! And really informative, great job guys!
Thanks man, You're awesome.
Hail the folk! Amazing video as always send love and positive energy your way! 🥰⚒️
thanks Joe
Wonderful video. Thank you for posting this on CZcams. And I do agree that if we do not chronicle these events and our ways, the next generations will be left out. Again, thank you.
Thank you for supporting this channel and watching how we do it in this kindred.
Thank you

Opening a new kindred
So let me start by saying that I really like a lot of what you guys are doing, and the emphasis on kinship and connection between the folks is clearly the focus of your ritual style. My question is regarding business of the Heall, while our Theodish Traditions there are many similarities to what you are doing, our business of the hall is done during the third round of the sumbel. Is there a specific reason or lower reference why you do business of the hall during a ritual, or are you referring to the entire gathering as a meta ritual and this only be one part of it?
That is the part of blot where we would do a blessing, marriage, naming or another official task that we would want to perform in the presence of the gods. I always ask just in case someone has something and forgot to mention it to me before ritual. I feel bad after ritual when someone says "man I meant to have you bless my new work knife" or something like that, so I just ask. Also official kindred business is generally done the day before in a meeting where we swear an oath of Frith, and then conduct the meeting in accordance with Robert rules of order. Hope that clarifies it.
Thank you again!!! Absolutely loving your content. Thank you so much
Hope it adds value to your day.
Love what you do brother! The way you perform blot is very close to how I was taught. You inspire me!
Awesome thank you.
Thank you very much for sharing your Blot with all of us. Skal
Stick around there wil be many more
HAIL GRANDMA ! 👵 🙌
I know, right!
Hi my name is Kenny I've been part of lots of true for a few years now I was wondering what a naming ceremony is ?!?
This video might help... czcams.com/video/T7MLPCSwoJQ/video.html
I think many people go weird scary directions in ceremonies is backlash from a painful Christian childhood and they go a completely opposite direction in reaction.
Having come here as mature individual with out bitterness towards my former path, it's not a thing for me. I'm looking to have a respectful conversation with the deity I seek.
Thanks guys
I think you are on point for some cases. But some people go there because they just don't know any better and there aren't a lot of really clean good examples to learn from. Seems like everyone that knows is trying to sell it as some certification program. Im glad I can be here giving it away.
You mean you're not trying to become the asa-pope? (Term stolen from another CZcams channel)
@@stolman2197 hahha, nope, everyone is their own asa-pope I suppose. Spirituality over religion all day.
Where y’all located at ?
North Idaho
@@northwoodskindred like your guys content! I’ve been walking my path for some time now, never linked up with a community, y’all got a nice thing going out there! Skal!
@Alex thank you so much, it is a different walk than a solo one and we have done it both ways. Hope you get to experience both sides of that journey in time. Þórr viki
Off topic question, do you make it to Rabbitstick?
I taught there a couple years ago before the covid happened. Havnt made it since then. Between the rivers gathering also.
BTR always happens on a week I can't go(50/50 chance 🤷♂️).
@@stolman2197 Yea I havnt been to BTR for a while either. I do still talk to Patrick once in a while though. He is good people. 👍
Agreed all Farnham family is.
