The SECRET STORY behind this AMAZING baseball at Camden Yards

- I've been to 1,900 MLB games and NEVER seen a baseball like this before. It belongs to the Baltimore Orioles’ bullpen -- it's how they keep score in their daily pre-game competitions to see which pitcher can throw a ball that ends up closest to home plate. Shoutout to bullpen catcher Ben Carhart for letting me take a closer look at it and for being so friendly throughout the day not just to me but to other fans as well. MLB needs more people like him.
Despite the fact that the stadium opened just one hour before first pitch, I stumbled into a whole lot of action. Of course the main thing that I wanted to see -- rookie sensation Adley Rutschman hitting his first career home run -- wasn't meant to be. I think he'll end up being great someday, but unfortunately his early season struggles continued in this game against the Seattle Mariners.

I have talked with two friends who work for the MLB and there has been more lawsuits over the last 5 years from people getting hurt by baseballs at BP than people getting hurt at the game's from foul ball's or flying bat's, so its up to the owners if they want to chance opening up early and making people like us happy or the chance of a lawsuit.. it should be a rule when you get a ticket for a game and enter a stadium your there at your own risk of being hurt either in pre game or during the game..

I work at Truist Park. I can confirm gate times are due to stress it would put on staffing across all vendors.
Zack I watched the documentary and to those of you sitting on the fence whether to rent it or not. Trust me it is WORTH IT. To understand what drives Zack each day to wake up get to the ball park and make us epic videos. The video will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and when it's over not only will you want more, but you will have such a greater respect and knowledge of how this came to be and why Zack loves this game so much.
As a Baseball fan,watching in England,I really appreciate your tours of the stadiums Zack! I have been to a few myself. Texas Rangers back in '99, The Trop a couple of years later,then a few games in '08 at the Milwaukee Brewers. Would love to visit Camden Yards one day too. Keep up the great work !!
You should I am from Baltimore and dream of one day visiting a premier league stadium anyways Camden is a beautiful park and I highly recommend you visit it’s such a amazing baseball atmosphere even if their aren’t many fans at times
Carhart is always so generous at games! Was able to get a toss up from him when they played at Busch Stadium a few weeks back!

These videos remind me of going to sports games and exploring random parts of arenas/stadiums during intermissions/breaks/half time or whatever. Little things like going to the bullpen to explore or trying to sneak into places with empty seats to get a better view, it’s a great experience. Love these vids Zack

I was at Camden Yards on May 16th against the Yankees. It was my first time there and I know why so many baseball fans have it as their favorite ballpark. I live near Pittsburgh and am a Pirates fan so I have PNC Park as my favorite. Camden Yards is my second favorite ballpark. I have been to games at 4 of the current ballparks. I have been to Citi Field, Camden Yards, Nationals Park and PNC. I was at Nationals Park the day before I was at Camden Yards.

I was there on the 18th. Same series against the Yankees. I'm from Milwaukee and that was my first time at Camden too. Beautiful ballpark. I spent a lot of time just walking around and checking out the game from different areas of the park.

@@drewo6388 It will be even better if Dempsey’s ever reopens year round in the Warehouse. I like the two convenience stores in the Warehouse, ones Boog’s General Store where you go inside, get a bottle of soda or beer from the refrigerated cases, go outside pay and go back to watching the ballgame

I’m great friends with someone who has 1.7 million subs on CZcams. It’s always fun to see him signing autographs. I love filming for him and can always tell when fans are a little shy to say hi. I let him know when people are always around for him. He always goes up to them and it makes them smile. I just absolutely love capturing those moments on film.

Haven't been to Camden Yards in forever. My parents wouldn't let me drive there as a teen , so I somehow convinced my sister's girl scout troop to make a " field day " . Aquarium in the morning and an O's game in the evening. Huge Ripken fan ! And my dreams came true. !!!

Was that ball that you caught at 6:40 signed? At 6:45 it looks like you can see a signature under the smudge.
I think lower fan volume more than likely to the gates opening so late… Comerica Park used to be open 2-2.5 hrs before the game back when the tigers looked better.
