I don’t think it’s weird, it’s a clothing store and they want to know your style. Working there you have to send in pictures of your outfit for product research. They won’t hire you if you don’t have good style because their workers are the people who inspire their clothes.

I just applied to work at brandy and the manager said they would hire me but that I need to have 3 months of training first. I wouldn’t be able to work there for 3 months long so I can’t do it. Do you know if the 3 month long training is necessary to work in Brandy Melville stores?💕
honestly, it depends on your location because from some of the stories i've been seeing, girls get hired on the spot and start working right away

I live in Spain and there are lots of diverse workers!! There is one for example who is a black woman and her skin and her in general is so pretty!! They're also really nice I think, quiet but oh well,, I don't really get why the brand gets so much hate tho :// I'm pretty petite and normal stores usually don't have my size,, it's too big for me, Brandy Melville is one of the only stores who does fit me :

product research is when they take a picture of what you wear to work, so most of the time you already own the clothes. Hope that makes sense haha

I’m 5’5. Some stuff are cropped and some have a longer fit so it all depends on the style you like.

The problem is people are blaming the employees when its the designers and their companies fault so giving the employees hate does nothing and is just giving them hate... like just email their companies but dont talk rude to the employees

Well I’m 14 but I want to work at Brandy when I turn 15 which is in august next year. I don’t know with this whole COVID thing going on. Here’s the problem, Brandy hires only tall pretty skinny girls, I’m not gonna lie. I’m 4’10, I’m skinny, but too skinny to fit some of their clothes :/
that's their stereotype but it's not true. at least not at the location I worked at. there is no height or body type requirement to work there.
