I should mention that on flat mode, Springtrap, when in cam 07, can just randomly kill you out of nowhere without any indication or warning. While it’s pretty uncommon on nights 2-4, on night 5 it’s quite common
Yep, insstaa and I were shocked to learn this in the middle of the FNaF 3 guides but I talked about it in the next one, I'm pretty sure. FNaF 3 HW might be the buggiest thing in the series, pre-SB.
Yeah I actually mentioned this bug during one of the December marathon streams. I had seen this bug on both VR and flat mode (from my own experiences) on some CZcams vids.

a strat i use that's consistent is to close the vent connected to cam 09 at the very beginning, and just hope that mangle doesnt jump you. And then stall springtrap all night on cam 09, while also spamming reset all after about every lure. (This is probably a little easier in vr)
The crazy thing is there is the vent that is on cam 2 hallway, then a vent on threshold of cam 2-3, i guess secret vents are the reason there is a gigga trap can't even access it or see it on the vent cams.
Shesez went out of bounds in fnaf vr and you can see it in his video
nobody: spring trap when you seal the vent: ima just become a minecraft enderman and just bypass the dang thing
Spam the reset all while checking the cams. You can do this since you don’t have to look or go away from the cams to rest
Yep, that's a strat for the later nights, but it's better to learn how the game works early, not to mention more engaging.

This doesn’t relate to this video, but I thought a recent upload might be the best way to ask. I’ve been trying to beat FNAF4 blind all nightmare nightmare mode (Xbox One), and today I looked up your tutorial video for help. The one issue I’m running into (besides me being too slow or the Xbox buttons being bad at shutting doors fast) is that I’ll shut a door on where nightmare is, hold it for the couple of seconds it takes him to leave, hear him leave, then a second later I die. Is this just a bug that was never fixed or what?

Nightmare is somewhat buggy but it is easy to deal with him. If you get there too late or too fast (not waiting until his footsteps stop completely or waiting too long when his footsteps have stopped), you might die.
Make sure to wait about 1-2 seconds to ensure the footsteps have stopped completely to be sure he doesn’t double back when you can’t hear him well over your own running. By waiting a short period to ensure the footsteps have stopped completely, this ensures he won’t double back or glitch through the door and kill you. This may happen if you get there before him. 2 more things to mention. Don’t stay idle in a part of the room for 20 seconds, Nightmare will just kill you. Last thing, I highly recommend running a stopwatch for 6 minutes as you can’t see the time and also, he tends to do more fake laughs after 2AM, so using your stopwatch will determine when you are about to hit 3AM. Good luck!

I was just playing night 2 and it was 5 am on my first attempt, I died to giga springtrap🙂
Edit: I beat it on my second attempt, and springtrap went into the vent but went back. To cope, I spammed seal on the already sealed vent to make sure he wouldn’t go through. Can you try this on multiple attempts for me Ambience?

I recommend only putting spring trap in cam 8 and 9 it kept me alive because I tried to keep him in cam 9 and 10 and he got into the vent and killed me so I recommend that
If you seal the vent that connects to cam 10 it’s impossible for him to kill you from there
I think this version is so much cooler then the OG Fnaf 3

I was in night 5 and had spring trap stuck on cam 9 with lures and that local vent constantly sealed, so when I got jump scared by mangle (this is still cam 9 sealed vent) I went to reboot the system and I look down the vent and behold here comes springtrap. I don’t know what to believe anymore

Some of the guides are already in VR, but the strategy will work the same in both flat mode and VR
There have already been VR mode guides, but the general strategy is the same, so don't worry for platform differences for now!
This isn’t that big of a deal but I’m gonna share:
If ur in vr you have to press the cam button to go to vents-regular and vice versa

I have one question, why not just keep Springfield in Cam 8? That way he can't vent
That's a strategy, there's just better ones. Him going into a sealed vent is actually better than him not going into a vent at all, it buys you time because he just sits in there doing nothing. Plus, he's further away from you in 10 and overall more trackable in 7.

Ik I can’t avoid phantom foxy like at all
Keep him in cam 1 so there’s no vents and no other cameras to check avoiding phantom balloon boy and mangled and quickly reboot don’t look for too long or foxy will get you
