As a result, several trains have been retired and are transported to the Pointe-Saint-Charles maintenance yard. At the end of December 2020, service on the rest of the line was suspended, resulting in the closure of the remaining stations on the line. The remaining trains were also transported to this maintenance yard. They stayed for 2 years, hoping to find a train line that can still use them. Unfortunately, they couldn't find any and in July 2022, they made the announcement that these trains will be scrapped. From November 2022, these trains were gradually transported to the scrapyard called American Iron and Metal. Two of these trains will remain in the maintenance yard until spring 2023. They will them be transported to the Exporail museum located in Saint-Constant on the south shore.
