I am pontia from Greece. My grandfather used to live in Trapezounda (Trabzon) before 1922. I heard the song and I needn 't translate to understand the lyrics. I heard the kemence, I see the dance and it was so familiar to me. I was shocked and I realise that a part of my "family" continues living there.
Except for the words like “si.sa si sa” in between, all the words sung in the song are in Turkish. You are trying to create a perception like "Those in the Black Sea are Pontus"
Black Sea people are Turkish. Most of them are Turkish nationalists. I was shocked to hear that most Greek food is Turkish anyway, and realized that some of my "family" still live there. Tulumba, dolma, sarma, baklava, yogurt etc.😉😉They are all Turkish dishes.

Do you really think that we don’t know that these cities you named have greek origin? We care about anatolian history that’s the reason we didn’t change the names, and the people living in these cities are proud about that. It’s not all about history my friend, just because they have hellenic originated names don’t make them greek cities, the world is changing . Who lives in the past will never do great steps.
