The bridge section or interlude starting around 2:30 has almost a contemporary bluegrass feel (briefly but impactfully)! Not in recording style but in the overall shape/rhythm of the vocal line and articulation of the instruments etc. And the track as a whole is amazing; congrats
Just discovered this band today, holy crap did this track blow me away. As somebody who's been helping aspiring artists get started in music writing this track gave me chills with the mixing and the surprise transition into the verse. What * a * vibe.
One thing I admire is how much of a sacrifice it must be for artists to get into the headspace where such magic can emerge; seems like that could be difficult at times (like with screen and stage performers too)
Pre-saving simply is not enough!!! Rushed to the website to pre-order the CD & postcard bundle after listening to this, I am so beyond excited for the album!!!!
When I discovered her several years back during the Clean EP era I was excited to see what more she would become and that is turning out to be incredible to watch and hear. Can't wait to see her in Denver next month.

I prefer the slow drums like saw you In a dream rather than this two-time drum beat, I think it's more emotional with the drums like saw you in a dream because the lyrics is sad, the beat on this song feels somewhat forced, like forced to be upbeat but slow drums is more fitting on this.
