He said 3/4 in socket drive. He meant to say 3/8 in socket drive.
Don’t bother attempting to change the filter it’s not really necessary.
You helped me out, I was always worried about messing with the trans fluid because I thought the system was pressurized and I was afraid to screw it up. This was easy, easier than changing the oil because no filter. I changed mine at 95k.
If you're towing this vehicle behind another vehicle, Honda recommends changing the transmission fluid every two years or 30,000 miles.
Thank you very much! Was just quoted $200.00 from a Quick Lube place, to change it out, so I'll be doing it myself!
Hello. The transmission filler cap came off my 2014 Crv. I’ve been trying to look for where it goes. Can you tell me where it goes?
If you have to drive a couple of miles and repeat surely that's a lot of fresh transmission fluid wasted? Have I understood that?
I’m watching it 😊
How many miles were it when you drained that fluid? Can you post of the recommended transmission fluid change schedule in the Description?

Is the crush washer a 20mm? My 2014 crv part list says it's a 14mm that fits. Which is it-18mm or 14mm for the 2014 CRV LX trim?
What about the little filter under the base of the air box??? Did you get that little canister out and replace it with a new one??
can you use a oil extractor to do the ATF change?
2WD 2.3 quarts
My 2012 crv has 60k miles and I never changed the atf fluid before. I do my own oil changes. This looks as easy. But what size socket did you use ? Or was it the kind that fits inside ? I forgot what it's called but it's like a male version of a socket.
How do you check the level?
