The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take stories forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:
- Racism (including offensive comments based on ethnicity and nationality)
- Sexism
- Homophobia
- Religious intolerance
- Cyber bullying
- Hate speech
- Derogatory language
- Comments inciting violence.
We strive to make the CZcams community a safe and welcoming space for all.

@@wadeodonoghue1887American Congress is quite boring compared to parliamentary systems… The only interesting parts are during congressional hearings/inquiries, and during them the member who is speaking has undivided time to ask whatever questions they want, they are never interrupted. Personal insults are (almost) never made, it’s unusual for there to be chatter, booing, applause other than at special events like the State of the Union, and “debate” Is just a series of speeches/presentations made by people who don’t understand what they’re talking about very well with no interaction from the rest of the chamber. The only form of protest that really ever happens is people leaving/not showing up for votes. The most entertaining thing really is the ability for people being asked questions to be able to sound like they’re answering them without saying anything substantive at all 😅
@@padenvan I hear you. I think the problem is not being honest in both cases but for different reasons. If I don't listen and just make an enemy of you, then it doesn't matter weither you say it outright like here in our jungle court or it is a silent yet known secret that the houses appose each other. Thing is technology allows us allot more freedoms than the people's of the past, adding nothing to society quickly brought results and "the dead leaves withered" back then today not so much. Today technology brings such overflow that false contributions are needed to keep the world in balance. So to politicians it isn't as dire and substantial as those who served before. Thus they seek to win Power, what will turn the body of the populis in my favor, promising them their dreams, yet in reality they just want the title in the dream, real change is ironically a dream to them, I presume.
Here I paint the worst motivations a person might have, there is also those that work for good and true reasons. However as long as one may lord over others in which ever capacity, there will be a scramble to divide the cream from the crop.
