fun fact: the grave at the begining of the ending is fern's grave, you can see that frieren sit on her grave just like she sit on fern feet 😭😭😭😭

"His voice is so calming" this is so true, which is insane because the voice actor also plays Bakugo from MHA and Genya from Demon Slayer that are known for their loud screaming and annoying sounds. Just goes to show how talented Okamoto is

It's funny how Himmel sounds so awkward when he gets angry at a child showing how unusual it is while Bakugo sounds like an eternally angry living dynamite
The prevailing theory is thats Fern's grave. Frieren always likes sleeping on Fern's lap and when Fern's gone she lies on her grave to reminisce those times.

@@adoresukira54 Honestly though, lol it's insane how this series that focuses so much on the passage of time and its effect on people can do such a great job at making us feel that same effect with each passing episode. 10/10 anime, especially after watching the finale yesterday.
Honestly, I don't really get why so much ppl cried at the death of himmel. It's a character we knew for only a few minutes.
@@riwen0851 I don't think the people cry because of Himmel's death but more on that Frieren's regret of not getting to know him more.
Really enjoying your reactions. You’re doing a very good job processing the emotions the show is trying to convey and embracing the vibes. A lot of people I’ve seen reacting to this anime either give off deadpan looks and say the bare minimum or give very shallow responses to the emotional notes. Watching you is very refreshing.
This was one of the sweetest episodes for me. The little moment between Fern and Frieren hit me so hard in the manga even though it was so short and there are much more emotional moments later on and previously. I guess it's the mother daughter dynamic they sometimes have.
Every time Alana watches 'Frieren :Beyond Journey's End' it casts a tear-inducing spell on her.
The ED is the second verse of the same song by milet, I bought the CD.
The 2nd ED is like the "part B" of Anytime Anywhere by milet, which is the song she made for Frieren. I think it's nice how they made the whole song both ED 1 & 2. Milet's voice is so soothing that fits Frieren perfectly.
Frieren with ED of the year! Everytime Milet plays at the end of every single episode it just always makes me emotional.. Thank God they kept Anytime Anywhere as the ED for the entire season
the first time i watched the ED I was hit with more emotional damage than I even thought possible from an ED. the waterworks won't stop. great reaction as always

The second ED of Frieren is one of the best I've seen in my life. Milet's voice and the animation alwalys get me.
It’s the same song as the first ending. It’s just the second half of the song
The animation is seriously the coolest I’ve seen for an anime’s opening or end credits .
Chainsawman was incredible as well, just because the opening was a ton of movie references , the song was incredible and each episode had a different end song and animation.
And Beastars season two opening I think. The stopmotion one .
I really get teary when I hear the end of lyrics "I whispered our lullaby for you to come back home"😭❤️
Ep 28 just dropped and it was a fantastic end to the season, this show is so beautiful from start to finish
When you first watch the show you think it's Frieren asking if they're alright, if they are doing okay and she's telling them about her new found emotional maturity. But throughout the show you can see that her original party knew the road she had to take, even though they'll be gone before she is and they don't have as much time as she does. They don't envy and blame her, understanding the hardship she'll one day endure when she starts to understand and cherish everything as well, and they actually worry about her, asking if she's okay.
The "just start dating already" reminded me so much the "just get married already" from Komi-san when I saw this episode for the first time lol.
Love that the OP has a line about the sky while showing Himmel and when it later has something about 'further away', it's showing Fern, since that would be translations of their names
Wow this episode is surprisingly connected to todays final episode with the kind of legendary spells Fern likes and the quick goodbyes of Frieren.
There are reactors that spotted this gem when it first came out, and some that only followed suit only when it became famous... and some that are starting only when it has ended

Farewell, Sein, may you find Gorilla, and maybe meet a sexy older lady along your way. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again - Stark's voice actor is so good, he gives the character so much personality.
I can think of a mage in the coming arc that he would definitely like to be around...

The author said the grave is Flamme's. So it's like a Frieren life from Flamme's(her master) to Fern(her student)
Probably Flamme's grave since she's the only one that been there and then she meet/growing up together with another human mage (Fern) again in her life time
The wizard, the warrior and the priest, it was Himmel's party all over again.
I know it's sad that Sein left the group, but I think it's the right thing for him to do.
He has to find out what happened to his friend and get closure.

It's interesting that this new ending is the response to the previous one. If you hear this first it says "Are you all right?" and then the new one says "Yeah i am all right" and so on

Another wonderful reaction. Yeah, the ED is a bit more up temple. It is too bad Sein didn't stay with our group, but he does have his own journey. He's also our stand in on Fern and Stark's relationship. That was great! I think you'll get some emotional relief for the next arc.

hey when reacting to any anime please please dont look at the openings, in general across the board openings, and closings for that matter are INCREDIBLY spoilery. i dont know why they do it but , other anime watchers can attest some openings can outright ruin upcoming segments of anime. nothing is inherently wrong with watching openings/closings but i suggest maybe after the entire season ends, do a reaction video of all opening and closing compilation.
