- A documentary relating to Ribe VikingeCenter's docudrama series RIPA.
Coloured glass beads were very popular pieces of jewelry. In the 9th century, women typically wore a strap dress. The strap was fastened at the front with a brooch, and between the brooches was a string or more of beads made of e.g. glass or amber. It was a symbol of status.

Amazing!
A fabulous video. Any possibility for more information concerning the kiln used in the video? Many thanks in advance.
Brilliant video, thank you very much.
Fantastic
Really thank you!! I would love to try!
I am not Ulfhild, but I also would appreciate the bead.
Can we get a better view of the kiln? Maybe a description of how it is shaped?
