    Beautiful bus. Our Wanderlodge has one of those air flush toilets too. I'm going to replace it with a simple water flush unit. Tired of chasing air leaks on the darn thing. It's actually worked fine thus far. Just too complicated and replacement parts are astronomical. Thanks for the great review.

      Agree!! Wish it could just drop in the black tank, then a quick rinse. Way to complicated.

    Hi Aaron, I really like your videos, especially the technical videos and tours. You do a very comprehensive video which is what I like. I’m pretty OCD and nerdy that way. I really like both of your busses. I’m not sure of why a bus would need both bus air AND 4 roof units…seems overkill it maybe it’s just for backup. I have a ‘07 Monaco Holiday Rambler Navigator 45’ w/525 Cummins, tag, 4 slides, 12.5 KW Onan generator and I really love it, however it’s my nature to constantly want to upgrade. No sooner I buy something or get it the way I want. I’m already thinking of the next upgrade Coach. I’m thinking a Newell or Prevost, something in the 2000-2003 era with a living room slide and bedroom slide. My concern is the cost for repairs and maintenance as I’m pretty clueless of what those kind of busses require and the cost. I’m not even sure of where to take it in the Denver metro area. I’m assuming those expenses are a lot higher than my Navigator since those busses are custom and more complex, inside and out. At some point, you should do a review of your bus and PJ’s of what repair, maintenance and upgrades were done and the costs. I think people would like that. Great video and thanks for sharing! 👍

      Bus air for driving, Roof airs for when stationary, I think.

    • @CampPrevost
      @CampPrevost  Před rokem

      Thanks for watching. The bus air is for use while the engine is running, traveling. The roof tops are for use when stopped, camping. In regards to maintenance- it’s hit or miss. Oil changes, tires, wear items, generator changes, aquahot changes, - same as any other bus. The air is the difficult part - miles of tubing, dryers, norgen valves, compressors, accessories, etc. the electrical side is complex as well. These use the top shelf items for everything- so when something does go wrong it’s expensive to fix - because the parts are expensive- prevost sells their components online though and are really inexpensive. The other issue is these were top of the line 23 years ago - so they get dated - then its expensive to tear out and replace - most of the time the original stuff is fine - just dated.

    Good looking bus!
    I am planning on doing the lithium swap on my bus as soon as my lifelines take a crap.
    If you wouldnt mind sharing the cost for this upgrade, id greatly appreciate it.
    Ive heard so many different prices, but id be doing the install myself.
    Thanks again guys!

    • @CampPrevost
      @CampPrevost  Před rokem

      You can check out signature solars website - the prices change all the time. I think around 1,600 a battery and 400 for the rack. About 100 for the step down transformer. About 600 for the Wakespeed. About 80 for the Sterling alternator protector. Maybe $6k? Parts plus any other Victron stuff you want. Inverters, shunt, color touch, etc.

    • @christianlucas6553
      @christianlucas6553 Před rokem

      So basically, $10Kish. It begs the question, why would anyone even bother with lifelines anymore. The cost difference is nearly zero.
      I can't wait to switch mine out!
      Thank you for all your content. It's been very helpful to me.
      Looking forward to your next video!

    Really nice, smart. Just this 2 couches in salon are suspected for less comfort and useability. I would put there some 2 at least very comfortable armchairs and some very, very smart sofa bed.
