- In Episode 2 of DRUMLIFE, Kerby makes his way to Zummo's hometown of Los Angeles, California. The lads make their way to Adrian Young of No Doubt's house. Adrian shows the lads his secret underground studio where he spent many hours with his band No Doubt rehearsing and writing some of their iconic catalogue. As always, the lads then do what they do best, drum!!

so cool to see Adrian Young's home studio. I recognize all of those kits
So rad! It was an absolute treat to play those iconic kits and visit Adrian at his home. The snare on the main kit was used on the No Doubt track ‘X Girlfriend’

@@DanMehta yep. His snares sounded awesome. Still do. That OCDP sound was so sick! All I wanted growing up was an Orange County kit
@@drumlife-zummoxkerby4601 Same here. Especially their vented 50 ply snares! They were the first company I remember seeing to do that along with the 1/2, 7/8 lug off sets. Adrian Young and OCDP are the reason I have shallow rack toms :)
@@DanMehta How sick are shallow rack toms! They are also great to get in the exact position you want. The deeper toms were always tricky to place how I liked

This is my new favorite channel! I'm not sure if Frank reads these, but if he remembers me, I was the Navy kid who played with Street Drum Corps in the South Korean Navy base in like 2016. He invited me up and I went improv on a beer keg and got to talk with all of them after. I hope you see this dude! And looking forward to the rest of the series!
