Situated in a semi-remote location, this hotel offers a mix of both positive and negative experiences that you need to know about before booking your stay.
Location: The Courtyard Marriott Fresno is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it quite isolated and difficult to access other attractions or amenities. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel, this might not be your best choice.
Customer Service: Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was less than satisfactory. The customer service at the Courtyard Marriott was inhospitable and left us feeling unwelcome. From the cold reception to the unhelpful responses, this aspect of our stay was quite disappointing.
Cleanliness Issues: Another downside was the lack of cleanliness in the common areas. From the lobby to the hallways, it was evident that housekeeping standards were not up to par. Dust and dirt were noticeable, which detracted from the overall experience. There were piles of used sheets and soiled items littering the hallways on the first floor.
Gym Facilities: If you’re planning to keep up with your workout routine, you might be let down. The gym at this hotel had only two functioning machines, limiting your options and making it difficult to get a comprehensive workout.
Pool Hours: One of the strangest aspects of this hotel is the pool hours. The pool is only open from 6am to 1pm, which is quite inconvenient for guests who want to enjoy a swim later in the day.
Room Quality: On a positive note, the rooms at the Courtyard Marriott Fresno are quite spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The water pressure in the showers was excellent, adding a touch of comfort to our stay.
Parking: One of the few highlights is the ample parking available. You won’t have to worry about finding a spot for your vehicle, which is a plus given the hotel's remote location.
Overall, while the Courtyard Marriott Fresno offers some positives like spacious rooms and good water pressure, the inhospitable customer service, cleanliness issues, limited gym facilities, and odd pool hours overshadow these benefits.
