God I love the editing. I know the occasional still images are not a lot, but the way you use them makes your videos more entertaining to watch than a lot of the extremely edited videos from the full time youtubers out there. The commentary is always charming, while staying informative, too.

I played him in the Olaf v Grit matchup on Chosin Resevoir (same map I lost to Deejus on lol) a couple weeks ago and he was playing like 1200/1300 mmr player back then as well (wiped the floor with me in an admittedly difficult matchup for Olaf), and he was like 17-0 in GL match score at the time. Arigatou Deejus-senpaii, and thank you for consulting Go7-sensei for his godlike wisdom.
That was really nice to see what to focus on for this map. I’ve only had two matches here and one I won by a big margin and the other I lost by a large margin. Looking back I can see why, I stuck to the sides on the one I won. Thanks for the replay commentary!
Yeah, this is a textbook example of why Rachael's power can be good. Namely that firstly it can offer a lot of good damage in otherwise even engagements and also that it allowed Talose to keep his CO Meter for a later Super; if he had held onto it I don't think he would've ever hit that hard. But he found an early advantage, forced Average to commit to an engagement, then hit him with a spectacular super power. Perhaps there was a way for Average to recover, but I the early game push and his own Super power not really achieving major damage really set him on the back foot. I mean, her CO power doesn't change the game but knowing when to use it for Tempo seems to be better then holding out. Thanks for the game review!
Great video, I only started playing a few months a go and I really enjoy these informative videos that help me to learn what to look for in a map, keep it up! If only this video had come out a couple of weeks earlier I might've not completely shit the bed against buibuimoreh lol. Not sure why I decided to pick grit for the first time on a map I've never seen against such a strong oponent...
yeah the rachel CO power seems kinda underrated, i watched a replay of Incuggarch whos another excellent fog player and he completely spammed it like all game instead of the super and it payed off big time. super interesting stuff
Rachel gains 30% luck, which is an average of slightly under 30% power in mirror matches. She also gains +10% power and def. Thus, Rachel's co power is effectively Max's co power without the movement boost(including Max's DTD power boost as well). Max is a good co, a tier above rachel, and he often uses his co power. Thus, it's not terrible to turn rachel into minimax for a turn.
Cool match and very informative. I always thought this map was funky but looking back on it, I have always won because opponents focus way too hard in the center and neglect the top and bottom.
Interesting. I remember Mangs' battle vs x123456789 on this map, who immediately placed an artillery where Talose rushed it as well (beneath comtower 10:07). In what I assume to be a previous version of this map, that plains tile was actually a forest. That seemed pretty bonkers so I guess they changed it.

I had a similar game as a rachel against an andy player. Since andy's super CO power cost similar stars to rachel, i used rachel's normal CO power once to change the rotation of my super CO meter so both wont be able to activate at the same time
16:54 I wonder if plopping the anti-air(artillery) on the beach instead of between the mountain would've been better? It at least would've prevented ground attacks but would've been guarded by the artillery(anti-air)
Hmm, depends on your CO, but you want to front shift a few times to force his artillery to move to your strong force. If you go right to his ball of artys itl be GG. Still think the same advice rings true, win one side, then shift to win the other

Aren't smurfs accounts a bannable offense? I imagine it would be tough to enforce but still.

IF a unit gets trapped in fog games. The replay doesnt show it properly. Its something they habe to fix. This bug has been around for ages now...
Mirror Matchups are kinda interesting when they are not *hellish* , its kind more of skill and knowing the CO well more than being more powerfull

That forest 5 spaces from airport is perfect to scout airport builds to help counter play

I think Talose's first Anti-Air might've come from Recon intelligence, but it is still a sweet spot for a pre-emptive AA.
Glad to see you here! As you saw, Talose used Lucky Lass and won in a high ranked mirror match so anyone saying 'never use it' is just meming.

If I suspect my opponent will pick Rachel, I always counter-pick with Rachel. Rachel has a 100% win rate with this strategy.
