For me, music from erra is always like this: you are standing on the ocean, knee-deep in water, where many currents pass. The warm ones, the cold ones. You are washed by the waves, but sometimes there are storms, but almost always ends with a warm view of the most beautiful sunset we can imagine.

What a roller coaster of styles and techniques in a song. Erra is too good for public consumption at this point. I feel like I'm being exposed to something no mortal should ever hear.

Jesse and JT a.k.a. the Yin and Yang of metalcore. Their vocals harmonize in a perfect way. Guitar sound awesome as always. So nice they've found their sound and style. I absolutely love this band. Thank you Nik for inviting them to your stream!

We're not even 22 days into January and we've already gotten perfect songs from Falling In Reverse, LANDMVRKS, Bad Omens & ERRA. If this keeps up I don't know if I'll be able to make it through the year without an endorphin overdose.
@Call Me, BLEGH Me, If You Wanna Reach Me Falling In Reverse's song wasn't my favourite, but still very solid. Usually I would include any Darko US song, but I don't support the message of their latest release, nor do I support Toms politics in this instance.. Sonically it is crazy, the vocals and the breakdown is nutty as per with Darko.. I just don't support the subject matter.
Muse also had a pretty solid song, and i'm sure there are others that I've missed.. Either way, it's shaping up to be another good year for music.
You have bangers from Fit For An Autopsy and Shadow of Intent too… then we get some shuggah to lead us into summer

Nik if not for you covering ERRA I may never have discovered them, which blows my mind. These guys in the short 4 months I've known they existed have reinvented to me how good melodic metal core can be. With respect to many bands I LOVE, ERRA just hits different, and I've only scratched the surface of everything they've put out, because I hear one song by them and it goes on binge repeat for a week, until another ERRA song takes over.

Just saw them live last weekend. They performed this song, and afterword, my favorite song from their previous record, Skyline. I damn near cried at that venue. Fucking beautiful. If only they weren't just the opening act.
Talking about how haunting Jesse's voice is, I first listened to Ghost Atlas and when I heard ERRA I was like.... That voice is familiar 😂 I love his Ghost Atlas work too, the acoustic songs are amazing
I only discovered ERRA from their newest album, but man what an amazing band. I wish I had discovered them sooner, but so glad I found them regardless. They mix so many styles in so well! I can't wait to see where this band goes next!

As far as I'm concerned, ERRA can do no wrong. Their self-titled album was my 2021 AOTY. Nothing else even came close. Can't wait to hear the rest of the tracks on this extended version.
It was a great album but my favorite was Vildhjarta. Absolute masterpiece album and probably my favorite of all time

Erra to me (musically) is like.. happy metal. Its peaceful even though its heavy AF. It's very calming. The resolves are immaculate.
Dude erra live sounds the exact same, I loved this band but seeing them live was just such an amazing experience. They make nothing but absolute masterpieces!

The self titled was my album of the year and they just keep on releasing the same quality of music the album had. Such fantastic song writing everything blends in so smooth and hits so hard. Love that band.

These guys are the best at what they do. So solid all the way around, and they can take on the entirety of the genre.
A few years ago I went to a BTBAM concert and ERRA was with them. I couldn’t stop thinking about the huge bald dude screaming in my face and how awesome their songs sounded. Here we are however many years later and they have solidified themselves in my top favorite bands ever. All because I went to see another band and they came with. Such good stuff man.

How to translate what a guitar with 6 or more strings play into a violin with 4 strings but not being able to play more than 3 strings = 3 notes at the same time.... Oh well! X))

I noticed that there aren't any ERRA Tabs on songster/Ultimate guitar available. There is alway just a note explaining that the author has removed them. Does anyone know why and more impotently were there are available? Its really hard to learn them by ear
They have 3 albums on Sheet Happens. You have to buy them, but those are tabs available.
