I've always loved this song but I've been going through the catalogues of artists I've always loved to analyze the music theory behind them. The i -> II vamp in the verses really just is so fucking striking isn't it? You are aggressively slapped in the face with the tonic's tritone seconds into the song and it refuses to go away. Great way of letting you know "This song is sinister" right off the bat lol.
