    Lovely walkthrough in the life of a teacher...most likely we all follow the same routine as teachers...best part being teacher is your evenings are with you.
    How does your HUSKY manage in your absence?

    What age group do you teach? Which subjects do you teach? Are you their home room teacher? What times does the school day end?

    Hi Alex. Thanks for uploading the video and giving us a little insight. I just applied for a job there and have an interview set up. I'm from the U.S where we purchase all materials to decorate our classrooms. I am curious to know how did your get your room decorated? In terms of supplies, did you purchase things there? Bring things from your home country? Did the school provide everything? Etc, thanks for your help.

      Hello! That really depends on your school! Naturally you’ll likely want to buy bits and bobs for your room. If you get a position at a private school they will provide you with much of the things you’ll need.

    Nice video! I would like to ask how do you find the workload as a teacher in the UAE compared to the UK ?

    • @TheNomadicTeacher
      @TheNomadicTeacher  Před rokem +2

      I would say the workload is very similar but the available time during the day to complete your work is more in the private international space. In the local UK system you only get half a day non contact whereas private international schools get much more time. This gives your more opportunity to complete your work during your working day rather than taking work home in the evenings and at the weekends.

    Hey! I did Masters in English Degree and TEFL Course am I able to get the job out there in Al Al Ain UAE?

    • @TheNomadicTeacher
      @TheNomadicTeacher  Před rokem

      I don’t believe the private schools here would accept TEFL.. you could probably secure a position in the local schools or the chartered schools. You’re best to see what the schools request and contact them directly you want clarification.

      I studied in Liwa private school through all the academic years and graduated in 2017. My siblings are currently in the school and everything in it has changed from the buildings to the staff members and teachers.
