Finally someone has listened to us and finally someone has acknowledged that indeed we have a problem instead of killing, abducting, inflitrating our protests, sidelining us and threatening us. this is what we wanted to hear prezzo speak from the begining. Just this; and parliament would still be standing, bussinesses would still be running, our friends would still be alive, JUST THESE WORDS WOULD HAVE DONE WHAT THE MILLITARY HAS BEEN SENT TO DO.

Hon Aaron Cheruiyot, for the first time I can hear you speak. Your contribution makes sense and resonates well with the people. It is sad that sometimes we can speak genuinely out of conviction but many at times we retreat to our party cocoons. Sycophancy is what kills this county. If we could be thinking and acting with our conscience, we could be very far as a country.

Ruto should also resign on Grounds of Ethics and Integrity for bribing MPs to vote “Yes”. That should not be expected of any sitting president of the Republic of Kenya, who is expected to lead by example. This is a very serious issue. His example is Corruption, the very basis of the protests. A scourge in Kenya and A Shame to Kenya locally and oversea. A Character Flaw. Good Governance must be restored in the country. Kenya deserves better than this.

I love this. Though Women reps and Youth reps are not necessary. Let us not split hairs. If they were effective then the Gen Z uprising and the sanitary pad issue wouldn't have emerged. Every ministry should consider youth and gender issues as standard operation. I also do not understand what Senators are for exactly. Mps are enough and with the help of online participation (Digital Parliament) and E-citizenry connectivity we only need 10 MPs to represent 10 geographic constituencies. Presidency will be strictly ceremonial, 100k salary with the state covering all expenses. This President should be appointed annually by public service commission without elections. Executive powers should be in the hands of a governing council of 5 elected officials from 5 different political parties of different genders, age groups, race and tribe.

We need to take stock of even our constitution. The level of representation is so much. we need to declare some offices redundant. I would suggest
    1. we reduce the number of counties from 47 to a maximum of 10
    2. Scrap women rep position
    3. Reduce the number of constituencies to a maximum of a 100 and restrict their roles to legislation only their kity to be distributed to the counties.

Cheruirot. You never used to make this sense. But I can see you have seen the light! Hoping not only for this time when the Genzs are putting you guys on the spot! Let not power lure you again!. You are really talking sense and you seem touched by the situation of our kids. May God use you in the proper way
Wish you God's blessings and Solomonic wisdom!

      Which light. Actions speak
Louder than words. Let them be treated like any other public servant. All of us who are employed we don’t get car grant or mortgage paid by tax payers money. They should only get a salary. They can buy cars and house out of that like any other public servant. Most of the mps in UK uses trains. What is so special about Kenyan mps. Rubbish

Now you have woken up. Kudos! These are the mature concerns people expected from you Aaron not driven by ethnic incling. Let others like Murkomen, ichungwa Nyoro, Chirchir and Sholei follow suit. Tell President restructure Cs,Lean Cas and CEO to represent the face of Kenya in an equitable manner.

Our leaders often have sweet tongues and brilliant minds, but their actions outside the house often tell a different story. We need leaders who are consistent and truly dedicated to resurrecting Kenya. Your support and optimism for a better future are greatly appreciated.

Cheruyot for President... this is one angry Leader who sees the light. No pretence and speaking from the heart. I like how he is taking responsibility and very informed. I hope this house listen to him. This makes me be proud to be Kenyan despite everything that has happened. We need leaders to be out spoken and look for solutions. Well done senator
