I don't get why they just have Junes be a department store where you can get a part time job and do your shopping at. But have the logo changed so Teddie is now the official mascot, and Yosuke runs one

@@283leis 2 years late but that would be because if they did. The reference would not be subtle anymore. Atlus likes to keep their references as subtle as possible. Putting junes in would be like getting hit with a baseball bat.

I have a feeling that Ann will become a famous model, Yosuke will be a famous painter, Makato will join Akihiko, Chie and Katsuya, and Haru will be a business women and all of this will be an Easter egg somewhere in Persona 6
Ryuji and Kasumi (to prevent spoilers, I'll stick to this name) will be athletes in their own fields, and Futaba a cognitive pscientist. After clearing P5R, I still have some questions about some things though, which makes me hyped for P6!
We know Joker and Futaba will inherit LeBlanc but I bet Futsba will leave that to Joker. So I expect an Easter Egg where "Town Detectives: A mysterious guy with glasses makes great curry in secret Tokyo shop!"
Narukami will probably become a teacher or something since the anime showed he was great with kids.

Not sure if it counts but on the Phan-Site comments, one of them references Persona 3's infamous "I've been waiting for this!". Yusuke also makes a reference to this
Hmm I'm not sure if that's a reference since Akihiko's "I've been waiting for this!" has become a meme in only English speaking community. It is "この瞬間を待っていた! (kono shunkan o matteita!)" in Japanese and it is a pretty common phrase and almost no one in Japan think it's something significant or funny.
Actually Akechi speaks the same phrase before his all out attack in the Japanese version (I forgot how it was translated in the English version) but no one in Japan think it's a reference to Akihiko.

I make it a point to collect all the plushies on all my P5 runthroughs but I NEVER NOTICED THE JUNES THEME?
Brigade Leader Haruhi Suzumiya You just get them from the claw machine in the arcade in Akihabara. They change everytime you win one. There are like five different ones you can win. You gain absolutely nothing for collecting them.
Also, dates ending in 7 are lucky days, which is nice, as you only get a set number of tries before it counts as an activity that takes time. So be sure to only try on those days, or at least be prepared not to do anything else on that specific date, while wasting a bit of money (It's no more than you would use on each visit from Kawakami though...)
And there's JoJo reference in school answers, you can answer "The World" when asked about time stop.
Yup and a lot of other references too (Doraemon, My Neighbor Totoro, Takeshi Kitano etc). But I intended to make these videos with only Persona-related reference.
By the way "The World" reference only exists in the English version. I'm not sure how it happened though.

Yulong Zheng Hmm I believe we're talking about the answer for the question ("What is the name of the phenomenon where the second hand looks like it stops moving?") in Sep 14. In the English version, the answers are:
1 A time paradox
2 Stopwatch
3 The World
4 Chronostasis
In the Japanese version, the answers are:
1 タイムパラドクス (A time paradox)
2 ストップウォッチ (Stopwatch)
3 クロックムッシュ (Croque-monsieur)
4 クロノスタシス (Chronostasis)
In the Japnese version, the number 3 answer is just a simple pun ("Croque" kind of sounds like "clock) and no Jojo reference.

Is Tanaka and his amazing commodities even an Easter egg anymore? I think he is a recurring character at this point that alongside Igor will appear throughout the rest of the persona series from 3 onwards (well, or at least until his Japanese va retires or dies)
When Fire Emblem has Anna, Persona has Tanaka.
I’d consider it an Easter egg based off the fact that it’s sorta out of the way and requires deliberate effort to come across.

You could also mention that in #13, when you watch the movie with Makoto, it's a reference to the first Yakuza game; developed by Sega, the parent company of Atlus, it's called "Ryu Ga Gotoku" in Japan. It literally translates to "Like a Dragon" in English. The in-game description of the movie is also a tl;dr of the game's plot.
Yes I was aware of the reference but didn't include it since I wanted to make the video with only Persona reference (I didn't include the Catherine reference for the same reason). Also in the Japanese version the movie they watch on this day is not Like a Dragon (Ryu Ga Gotoku) but a movie called "Boutreiji (バウト零時)" which I believe is a parody of famous Japanese yakuza film "Outrage" directed by Takeshi Kitano. So "the famous director" means Takeshi who is a very famous comedian and also a movie director in Japan. The Ryu Ga Gotoku/Yakuza reference is actually an English version original :)
My guess is, since Outrage is not that well known in English speaking countries, the English translator of P5 thought it would be difficult to use it as a joke so he/she decided to use Ryu Ga Gotoku instead but translated it a bit differently so they could avoid to make it as a direct reference of SEGA's game.
That makes sense. I thought you just didn't notice because, even with it's recent popularity, Yakuza is still a relatively niche title. I also didn't know it was only in the English version. By the way, what was the Catherine reference? I only ask because I thought I could play Catherine on hard mode and gave up on the second night. I thought it would be easier since I like to think I'm pretty good at puzzle games... Man, was I wrong.
You can get a Catherine sheep plushy at the arcade in Akihabara at some point of the game. Also I remember the Catherine dream level music is used for some movie (forgot which movie is). Sojiro talks about coffee trivia also reminds me of Catherine (the bar owner talks about cocktail trivia). Actually I've never played Catherine (watched some LPs though) but I've heard it's pretty hard. Maybe I should try it when Full body is released.
Not only that, but Futaba gets a Catherine figure in her room in the Rank 10 Confidant event.

Actually, I discovered this one through sheer coincidence, and one of the TV checks reference the first Detective Prince; Naoto Shirogane, implying Akechi had a lot to live up to.

(if i remember correctly the other crews still possess their power yet are unable to manifest them since the field they employed to do so its gone i may be wrong so i am really sorry if do)
well p3 cast could still use personas in the tv world,they just stopped using because their medium (dark hour) was gone...so i guess it's the same for every persona user

Cody Egnot Nah, oratorio can be pretty useful depending on the situation and you can get the best female armor from itemizing messiah. Probably 2nd most useful dlc persona just because of the armor. Number 1 obviously being broken Kaguya.
You also missed the easter egg where the song from Persona 2 Innocent Sin: Mt. Iwato plays whenever you get one of the mystery DVDs to watch on your TV.

Blake chandler Elizabeth left the Velvet Room sometime between the end of Persona 3 and the beginning of Persona 4. She went on her own adventure in order to find a way to save the P3 Protagonist from his fate. She fell in love with him and refused to let him suffer. As of now, we don't know where she is. All we know is that she's wandering by herself. Trying to find a way to save him.

No news as of yet, but I hope that atlus will make a game that focuses on Elizabeth's adventures to find a way to save him. That's why the next game should have a connection with persona3 and should include the old characters in there
