Instructions unclear: got hunted down by reapers for 3 hours.
Do they still do that, people don’t stack loot anymore so there’s really no point in chasing boats for more than 20 mins.

About treasure chests, there are two ways to place trinkets/skulls in them, placing it directly into the chest while it's open on the ground, or holding in the chest while aiming at the trinket/skull. I found the latter being much quicker.

11:50 thats exactly why i start every session with a fort.
Acts as a lil warm up, gives you a good start on your emmisary grade plus you get a huge supply from raiding the barrels.
i also just like the forts i think they cool :)

I've only been playing a few WEEKS and I knew what to do better then those poor souls 😭
I lost my siren skull yesterday because I was trying to sell it on an outpost for 10 minutes, that gave another ship time to come and kill us.

I have recently started playing sea of theives and just got a friend to get it. So far for about 40 hours i have been a solo slooper and own both my own sloop and brig. I haven't played for long but at least i own my own ships. I also have 22 in gold horders and 20 in souls. I love this game so much

New players? It’s good for players like me that are returning after a three year hiatus
Great video! Remember when we didn't couldn't purchse storage crates or simply slurp up supplies? Remember when we had to interact with Treasure Chests manually? I'm loving this game so much with how far it's come and i've only been playing 3.5 years!
The uptick in Bottle Quests has been such a game changer. As well as have very direct quests on the Quest Table. Sometimes, i only have 20-30 minutes to play and the new Diving and Quest Table is so perfect!

Definitely a great video for newcomers :D I myself have played the game for quite some time but if I were new at the game I would find this video very helpful for getting started as Sea Of Thieves offers so much content it can be quite overwhelming.

The games changed alot, i played yesterday for the first time since they started doing seasons, about s2, and it took me an hour to get a voyage started cos i was tryna buy one from the guilds like we used to and didnt realise you just actuvate 1 of many at the table now

It's strange that the more recent Cliff's videos are about the less likes and views they get example: Summoning a KRAKEN video 1.2M views and 24K likes, This video 314K views and 11K likes.
I put 500 hours into SoT back in the day but haven't touched it in years. Installed it today to see how well my first gaming PC could run it (300fps 1440p maxed settings) and was honestly overwhelmed by how much stuff has been added since I last played 5 years ago.

Being an experienced player myself this tutorial is useless to me; however, I can confidently say that this is a great tutorial for new players, which is who the target audience is… the tutorial covers all the basics and gives you useful tips which are sure to come in handy, yet it doesn’t get redundant by giving info that a new player won’t need. Even though I don’t need the tutorial I still enjoyed the video because it keeps the classic Cliff (or ledge) format of going on an adventure then telling the story in detail. Expertly crafted video my friend!

Can’t wait. When I switched from Xbox to ps5, sea of thieves was definitely the hardest game to let go. So hearing it’s coming to ps5 after 520 hours in Xbox, life is complete.

It’s crazy how different every session can be. Sometimes you’ll be attacked by 1 to 3 skeleton ships at a time, get a kraken, get snuck up on by a player and engage in a fight and other times you’ll be sailing the sea with absolute peace. 🙃

the messages in bottles are pretty good from what little I've seen
I got a message bottle not long after the update which was the duchess boss on thieves haven, but the thing is, the spawn area for them was the trap, which was pretty funny, especially after the boss killed herself with the trap

Thing about skeleton capitan orders is that now 90% of the time it's only one dig maps with a storage crate or sometimes a stronghold keg.
As someone who has been playing for 2ish years and am NOT a beginner, this video is a perfect introduction to sot and the new updates that have occurred this season.
I got this fantastic game at launch, 2018 and the embarassing thing is that i'm not even pirate legend😅 but these videos makes me wanna complete that damn merchant reputation!
