It’s so cool how each verse is like a different personality/pov of the situation with the chorus and bridge being the son’s pov! Since French isn’t my first language, I didn’t catch it at first but wow Stromae is extremely talented!!
I think that's my favorite part of his music, he explores so many perspectives on the same topic in such accurate ways. also the fact that in every single live performance he has a smile on his face, he clearly enjoys what he does, and that helps me enjoy his music even more

It speaks to me. It moves me. I truly can’t recall any other musician ever having such an effect on me. Perhaps it’s simply because he’s a musical genius. Enough said.
