The contrast from the bustling romantic city of Paris to the majestic snowy slopes of the French Alps the next morning was something to behold.

Now that was a really excellent vlog. I felt like I was also on that train. My longest train ride in France was Boulogne to Basel or maybe it was the Bern to Paris Est train. Trains were not so fast in my younger days. I loved all the snow when you were getting near to Briançon. Did you ride on the Shinkansen when you were in Japan? I love riding on those trains but I love to view the old steam locomotives best. Thanks for this superb blog, Paul. ☘☘☘

Thanks Philip, glad you enjoyed it man🙏. I think it was well worth as I felt I made the most of my time. Got the full day in Paris beforehand and woke up ready for my day in Briancon then. Will have a video of my trip back on the day trains in the future too 🚂
