From one lawyer to a would be lawyer, I wish you all the best. It’s tough and only time will tell whether it’s worth it. Every one is on a different journey after all. After more than 20 years of being a lawyer, my best advice is to maintain your integrity. There will be many situations that arise in our profession that will challenge your moral compass. Never allow that compass to skewer from your true north. Uphold your honor, trust in Allah and always remember that your profession is not your identity, no matter how all-encompassing that profession can sometimes be.
