what part of nipigon do you guys go for this? dream trip probably will never happen... our big mommas usually hold in 50 fow or more during the spawn because flathead lake has a substrate throughout the entire lake conducive to recruitment... sucks
Southern parts are readily accessibly however there is alot of un explored waters on nipigon that are less accessible and productive. Thats a bummerthat your lake trout dont set up in shallower water for spawn! Hit up Tyler if you ever decide to come up this way it will be well wprth your time. Iveshot tons of videos with him over the years he has so many awesome fishing programs around ontario that he can show you.
@@danthefisher right... the big mommas lay in 60 feet and don't have to worry about predation other than crays and we have mysis in the lake so they don't need to put on the bait fish pounds before the spawn so its a lose lose situation
