Not really... Saber and Lancer both obeyed their masters better than Archer, even though Lancer was stolen from his original master. And Assassin was very composed.

i dont know why but brave shine and last stardust makes me incredibly sad when i listen to them while thinking about the events of fate stay night
It's because that the lyrics talks about them, brave shine is about the actions of Shirō, and last stardust is about the doubts, fears and the unstopable will of Shirō in this route, obviously, that's why aimer is a godess
Sad? How strange. These songs bring me hope and resolve when I listen to them. That's what they were used to convey in the anime, that's what they should mean to us too! :D

It's the same for me. The songs are motivational. But they also convey sadness. They're uplifting from a jaded and melancholic way.
Last Stardust especially. ( paraphrased)

You can see there's always a backdrop of pain and sadness. Yet also hopefullness in the same breath. It's what I loved about it actually.
It acknowledges pain and misery before anything else. It comes from a place of tragedy. And then shows the light in spite of it all.

@@Mexican00b No, Shirou doesn't become Archer from any of the routes. I think the one that could come closest was said to be Fate Shirou (I could be mistaken on that), but Nasu said it was less than a 1% chance.

I started watching this series and I finished Unlimited Blade Works a few months ago, I now don't know which one comes after it. (I'm trying to watch them chronologically based on release, not lore)
Nothing. Fate Zero would be earlier, in both chronology and lore, and Heaven's Feel(Which you should watch next if you have finished both Zero and UBW), is a completely different story, which tells what would happen if Shirou banged Sakura instead of Rin
i mean if your going release wise are you including the og games, as well or just at the tvseries and movies?
if its the later case unlimited blade works comes after unlimited blade works, though frankly that's a helluva way to watch it, and frankly wouldn't suggest it. there's so many time lines and alternate realties just in the tv/movie part of the franchise that they can largely be treated as standalone

I'll talk briefly, a light novel of fate stay night has 3 routes, the Tohsaka route (adapted in Unlimited blade works) the Sakura route and the saber route. The tohsaka route is over and has no continuation, but the other alternative fate stay night routes can be found in "Heaven's fell" Films 1 and 2, this is the sakura route. and in another old anime adaptation for Saber's route

I think that Rin and EMIYA could be the winners of the holy grail war, but, you know, Shirō and more
Well EMIYA is kind of a cheat code in this exact grail war, and since Gilgamesh prefers not to use is crazy prediction ability to know the future, he can actually be taken off guard by, lets say, a reality Marble.
If Emiya truly had none of his memory and experiance he would get destroyed hard by lancer (OS NP OP for a Grail War) Berserker (in theory easy to kill for Archer, but Berserker's stat are broken ah) and Saber (fire the beam of Victory)...
