Wow, wiring up the mic lipsync and calibrating it was an absolute game changer. I'd seen bits and pieces of this in other videos, but no one else put it all together like you did!
This def helped! My model unfortunately only has 3 mouth movements, so she looks very stiff when speaking BUT this brought a little more life to her when she does speak, and for that im greatful! thank you!

I only got it right doing the mouth activated by voice and using the advanced lip sync, training the vtuber the letters "A,E,I,O,U" :D worked perfectly.

does the mouth movement depents on the model? did everything like you and changed a little bit while trying for example the AEIOU sounds and the Mouth is the same no matter what i say so it doesnt have a "O" movement or anything else :/

Advance lipsync is a new feature that was introduced after this video was made. I still use simple lipsync. By clicking lipsync type it lets me switch. But this is missing on my mac version of vtube studio.
Android to PC Steam Tracking I downloaded the same model to both mobile and pc/steam. The mobile version's settings are perfect, the mouth opens and closes and is synced up to my phone mic, but the PC version is not mirroring the mouth movements only everything else. How do I fix this? Thank you!
I would definitely double check that your microphone settings are set up properly in vtube studio. Make sure you see those little indicators "resulting parameters" below it bounce when you speak. If not...you may been to choose a different microphone, switch usb ports, or open vtube studio before you open up any other program that uses the mic. Then click the "reload" button next to it to make sure they are synced.

From what I understand- Yes! Your model might not have been rigged with an O mouthshape

when synching to steam it does not match my facial movements at all,

how are you able to keep your eyes shut as you open your mouth on your model? ive been having problems around that
in my mouth smile it doesnt matter how much i raise the max output my model wont smile by default is that just due to how it was rigged?

The mic doesnt work for me, because my character open her mouth everytime my keyboard or mouse make a sound. Volume cutoff didnt help

My model's mouth REFUSES to do an o-shape consistently. I don't know why, it's infuriating. It happens very rarely, for a split second.

Never mind turns out my computer was over heating due to it being hot outside such as 82 degrees, but i am used to the heat so i did not notice
