I bought a 2019 250h f sport 1 yr lease turn in, for a 100 mi round trip commute in 2020. 130k miles on it now. The most comfortable small car to drive. I would get another one.
I am just laughing at the ignorance of this guy. The Lexus are build like tanks. Ask any mechanic out there who knows anything about cars and they will tell you. These are the most reliable family cars that you can buy.
I drove one for 2 weeks last month and it's a great car. The 300h would be even better, it needed just a little more power for my liking, so now in 2025 it will have 15 or so more HP. It's really a perfect little cruiser.
The window button has two lines so you can tell that’s it’s the driver side window without looking down, you can tell just by feeling the lines while driving
All of these small suv's are basically cars. They are replacing subcompacts. They're tall hatchbacks. My friend has a Kona N and it's basically a tall hatchback. It's a fun vehicle but he did have his dual clutch transmission replaced at 14,000 miles.
The only reason I want an SUV is because it’s taller my 330 ES drives like a beast in the snow. It’s awesome with front wheel drive but it’s not tall enough to get over the snowbanks that I have and it usually comes every winter my Ford pick up 2 Wheel Dr. is awful to drive in the snow or bad weather because it’s a rear wheel drive so basically you are correct they’re like cars and I actually like that idea I just want something taller.
This crossover is about the same size as the first BMW X1 before BMW decided the X1 needed to get bigger and bigger. I had two of the first X1's and I purchased the redesigned 2023 X1 and I hate it. It's not sporty, and it can take 3 or 4 swipes to get an adjustment on the scree. I miss the sportiness of my old X1. I drove the UX250H and loved it except for the power. I am waiting for the UX300H and hope to buy that and dump my fairly new BMW.
Stationwagon is a stretch lmao, it's a hatchback at best. As a UX owner, the trunk is tiny. But it is a nice car to drive, despite being a tad on the slow side with a whiny powertrain
Was going to offer you my 2024 cx30 turbo for a video but now im not so sure LOL 😂 Definitely a 'car' SUV but its fantastic for city and highway driving! Love to support this local channel, and am always impressed by the quality you guys continuously pump out! Keep it up!!!
Great video guys, I've been looking at one of these for my mom, she doesn't want a big SUV but also wants sort of that feel, I think this fits the bill almost perfectly, either this or the Kia Niro HEV...
The 2025 F Sport 2 package is actually less expensive than the 2024 F Sport 2 package. At the expense of losing the triple beam headlamps with adaptive front lighting system. 🤷♂️
You can buy a 300h without watching any reviews. I bought a 2 yr old certified preowned 300h and drove it for another 10 years and sold it for a good price . It was still driving so smooth despite going over 100k miles. I replaced the battery once and that’s the major cost I had no issues
Great buy if you don’t need too much space and the mpg is amazing. Great entry level for Lexus. It’s just me and my girlfriend and the space up front is amazing. I could care less about the minimalist space in the back I’m not lugging people around or cargo. Had it for two years and very happy with my buy.
Reviewer showing ignorance of car segments, power trains and build quality. I own a UX250h which could be one of the most under appreciated cars in it’s class. It’s a car that is ideal for empty nesters, young couples and single people. That’s a huge audience. To think of it purely as a family car is an error because it just doesn’t have the space for four people and luggage. If you think of it as the new LBX’s big sister you’re on the right track.
I went from a Mazda CX-30 to the 250h and I already missed the blind spot monitoring system on the Mazda. I was relying on it too much while driving on the highway. Also, when I walk away from the Lexus, the doors do not lock automatically like on Mazda cars.
that’s shocking, because everything I read says that Toyota itself makes every one of their models, including Lexus after 2017 have all of those safety features like lanky Blindspot monitoring breaking assistance, so I’m confused I’m gonna have to research some more. I’m really thankful you mentioned that because I was Looking at used, and of course, was going to look as far back as I could to make it more affordable but I want all of those features
Haha that two lines on window button definitely is just to know that that button is for driver window when touching it with no look haha. I wonder, does it have a cool sit function too?
Please review fhe infiniti qx80. I know its dated but i wantand appreciate YOUR opinion on it. Plus they bout to come out with new one so you need to compare one with other. Please😅
They should label it a CUV lol I'm looking to purchase one this week. I wish it was the same size and power as the Corolla Cross, which I didn't know existed until I rented one from Hertz; but it's time to throw away my recalled Optima--that thing shakes when I go over 65km, ugh. Please do a review on the UX 300h cause if I love the 250h I'll trade it in for the 300h down the road--no pun intended lol. I love how this review was done NOT BORING AT ALL you guys kept my attention. Keep up the good work and wth I'll subscribe.
To me it looks like a 5 door hatchback...A very nice 5 door hatchback The dash material is made to emulate Japanese speciality paper for writing and shoji screens. It's called Washi.
It’s literally described as “car like” by the manufacturer. If the manufacturer says it’s an “suv” it’s an SUV. Why are “car guys” dunking on what’s essentially an upscale commuter car. Yall missed the mark on this one
It's a hatchback. Literally shorter than the last Honda Jazz/Fit GK by a centimeter. The Jazz/Fit GK also has a larger cargo space. The UX is longer but it is also a hybrid unlike the Jazz/Fit GK
Don‘t drink before writing comments dude. The UX is not a Hybrid?? The UX is only available as a hybrid. And why comparing this crossover (ok no suv) with a significant shorter and slighty higher mini mini van Honda fit? Get sober…
@@markus8484 Sorry missed that. Will edit now about the hybrid part. But I still hold true with the hatchback part. If you go to the Japanese Lexus website, the UX is actually being marketed as a hatchback there.
It's very good for what it is. Is q3 a pretty car? Don't think so. Not inside not outside. X1 drives nice but not everybody would like the new interface or dual clutch transmission.
@@kevinn1158had it for two years. It’s a crossover for a single person it’s perfect and gets amazing mpg for city driving and $28 to fill up at $3.79. This is not an suv or for someone that needs much space. And guess what? This works perfect for some. Toyota:Lexus has a reputable line of vehicles that will last. Maybe smaller and uglier per your PERSONAL opinion that is not widely shared but will break down less than the vehicles mentioned by 10 times over. I want something that will last rather than pretty and does not hold up. But if you throw money away on repairs that’s your thing.
Is it an SUV OR is it a HATCHBACK?
Lexus Trax
Absolutely a hatchback. Apparently it’s shorter than the Honda Fit.
It's a limited run rarity, buy while you can!

I don’t care what you call it. I just bought one and i absolutely love it. And im coming from a Charger 😂
It is a crossover. I've had this car for two years and it's fantastic.

This reviewer is a dumbshit
Anybody seriously looking at this car damn well knows it’s not an SUV. Dude you really got your knickers in a twist. I drive one and I love it!
Love the look of this vehicle! It’s definitely a hatchback with the looks of an SUV.

Please do a review on the 2025 model.. this is the best review I’ve seen on the UX
the two lines means that switch is for the driver himself/herself. So he/she can feel more special and proud to be a 2024 Lexus UX 250 h Driver 🎉🎉🎉

Thanks we appreciate it!
SUV, crossover and hatchback are ALL cars of different segments. The UX is a crossover.
This is a hatchback for the young crowd to have something fancier than a Toyota.
ok, you got my thumbs up at 6:45.... such a pretty vehicle. thanks for sharing the review.

Back to the tailfin wars of the 50's.
Overall, this vehicle actually seems rather innovative.
This car reminds of the Lexus ct200h
I think it replaced it
the ct doesnt seem to hold its value. when looking for used lexus, the are saturated with the ct

You do not sit high in the 250h. I feels like driving at car height.
Yes. Please do video on 2025 UX300h. FSport please and thx.
Is the Mazda CX-30 more of an SUV than the Lexus UX? Or do you feel that the CX30 is also a car?
Obvi not a suv. Merely a crossover... like a Merc GLA
Please share your review on 330H as I am planning to buy one

from the beginning i knew you were full of exhaust fumes
Thank goodness I read the comments.... The video shows the ignorance of the presenter... UX = "Urban Crossover".. Do your research is my advice
Depends where you live, here in Canada it’s Urban Explorer and marketed as an “SUV”
I like your videos, but please add metric. E.g a turning radius in feet seems so foreign to these Canadian ears.
You should check out the smaller sibling, the Lbx
LBX is smaller but overal nice review!
Thanks, and ahh we don’t get the LBX here in Canada or the USA.
LBX is essential a Yaris Cross size. UX is a CHR size
This is a hatchback.
Corolla hatchback, you’re welcome
Can you do a review on the ux300h?
Doesn't really look much different to the 2023 ux250h. Uses a Li ion battery and wireless android auto.
2 lines on window to indicate driver window 😊

It's just a higher stance station wagon.

What about the Cadillac XT4 would it compete with as well?

Its time to define what an SUV is. Seems like they are getting smaller and smaller.
By the sound of it and lazy accel , probably comes with CVT tran.

Looks like their market is for female college students (with their Daddy's budget) and Grandmas.
Is this a SUV? Technically no. It is christened by auto industry insiders as a POS.
The ct200h is better
