- I know I am late to trying this product but I have oily skin and I know my perspective is definitely different from others so let's see how this works after a 10 hrs wear test.

I feel this product works abit similar to Alcone stop the sweat. Whenever I used it my makeup always “cracked” till a MUA taught me that it interacts with silicone based products so either I use a dime sized amount where needed or use a water based foundation. I’ll go read on the ingredients of this product and perhaps we can give it another try with other products.
Just as I suspected it acts the same as the mehron primer too. They need bare skin to work best.
This is so helpful, thank you. I tried it for the first time and had the EXACT same results of separation and rolling product. I had used snail mucin prior to primer
I don't see your skin as oily, I see it @ as LUSTROUSLY BEAUTIFUL 😉 Naturally emollient skin is a sign of healthy skin, it keeps wrinkles away, and preserves a youthful appearance.
Awwwww thank you. I’ll be using this to describe my skin from now on.
You are too gorgeous. Your Skin is so perfect and to me it doesn't even look that oily. You just GLOW. I don't know if any of the products you use are for me. I have super dry skin sometimes and I'm as pale as a ghost. But I just love binge watching your videos while relaxing in the bath or drawing. Your voice and personality are just so nice 🥺💜
I have oily skin as well and through experience, I’ve learned that setting primers is the best way to go. I know for reviewing purposes, it wouldn’t be giving primers the fair chance to see if they live up to their claims but you can try it and see if this gives any better results 😅❤
If you want to try it again, Patrick has a video on his CZcams showing how he uses it and he uses like a dime sized amount and pats it in instead of rubbing... it would be helpful if they actually put instructions for use on the box since it doesn't apply like most primers.
I does have instructions, she read them on the box. It says to put a dime sized amount on the finger tips, heat it up, press it on the skin and wait a minute.
@Ulliana Veigantt Exactly...🤷🏾♀️lol, applying it just like the Becca primer as well!
I wasn’t gonna purchase bc of this video but I went to his channel bc he always drops gems. I went ahead and bought it 🤞🏾
@@BlaqQtee I too thought immediately of the Becca primer. It's one of my favourites, but it definitely has a learning curve. I always have to remind myself not to just rub it in and to not take so much. (I snagged some back-ups before they went out of business.)
@LEbackstage Oh wow, that's really good that you stocked up on Becca's primmer! I'm glad I have one left. But I wonder why they stopped carrying it...🤔 😔 🫶🏾
You looked gorgeous❤ I love the eye look and nude lip color! I think I’m going to skip this primer. I have no issues with my Danessa Myricks universal blurting balm and Gucci silk primer. Those two work flawlessly with any foundation I use. 💃🏿💃🏿
I think it looks good, the blue eyeshadow ❤❤
My fave part is was when you read the instructions then proceeded to not follow any of those directions 😂😂
🤣🤣
You rock those makeup, angel. ❤
I was hoping this was going to behave like the Becca stay matte primer, but I don’t think it will. Thanks for sharing!
I love one size powder and setting spray, they hold me down so I want this too.
Wow!! You have insanely gorgeous skin😍😍
Thank you so much
Thank You for the review this is my first time hearing or seeing this Onesize Primer. 💜 the eyeshadow look maybe the next review won’t cause separation. Tyfs✨🥰✨
Ooo sis you have try his secure the blur! It’s so nice
@@Ohemaa will do I know if you recommend it it’s bomb. Ty🥰
So I get really intense "hot flashes" that last like 30min sometimes, and I run hot to begin with, and I have noticed that this priner does help my makeup last, BUT ive had major problems with pilling! If I have anything on my face other than a tiny bit of moisturizer that I put on like an hour before I put the primer on, it pills. I also can't use more than a tiny dot, or else it pills, and I feel like I don't get good effects using a super tiny amount. I don't return things, so I think I'll just use it on days where I'm not wearing any face makeup🤷♀️
I am bummed though, the last 2 times I broke one of my shopping rules (never to buy a product at lunch unless I'm 100% sure I'll love it, i.e. certain brands and formulas that I already know and love) and picked up this primer, then the Rare Beauty lip oil, both of them were total fails😢 I'm not breaking my rules anymore I learned my lesson😂
Yes to the consistent content. Can you try the primer without setting spray.
Ok
You look great!!!!!!
I love your shine
a SHINNING Queen! lol Thanks for doing this review!
Lol I’m a shining Queeen
YESSS I DESPERATELY NEEDED THIS REVIEW LMAO
You have a natural glow. Ignore those haters your skin is beautiful you aren't `shiny`. 😔SMDH Some people.
Also, have you tried the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm in the “Universal-Translucent” shade for primer… Holy Grail for oily skin🙌🏾
Omggg I have it in my cart🙌🏿🙌🏿
Can't wait for a review!
How do you use it?! I have a mini of it, and I want to love it so bad, but I haven't noticed anything using it with my fingers 🤷♀️ I don't use foundation, so idk if that's why, but I thought it was supposed to make a difference on skin🤷♀️
@@AKbaby89 I use the translucent Blurring Balm as the first step in my makeup routine (after applying SPF). I use the scoop that comes with it to scrape some of the product out and apply it to the points of my T-zone (center of forehead, nose, center of cheeks and chin). I blend that in with my fingers and apply a thin layer of translucent loose powder over those areas with my powder puff to set it. I go in with my other products on top (foundation, concealer, etc.). Makeup and oils locked in the entire day !!
@@pbj14 thank you, I'll give that a try! 🙌🙌
Shiny skin looks healthier than matte but if this worked against sweat I’d be saved with my sweaty upper lip
I think it did a good job, but I would like to see you try it again using less to see if there's a difference. You know we like to go overboard with product. It's so hard not to, lol. I recently got the cheek clapper in berry gay and it's become one of my faves. It's so pretty. Great video 💜
His products are really very nice.
I saw Patrick Starr use his product. He just placed it where he would sweat which was on his forehead area.
So then I would have to use it in conjunction with another primer?
I did the same thing you did and folded the top over before I opened mine....I now have a small container with all the stuff that busted out when I poked the hole😂 then I stored it cap down, and that time I opened it it spewed out a bunch more 😂 now I store it cap up, and I handle it like a feather😂😂
I mix a little dot of my moisturizer with it and it stopped doing the pilling.
What do you think caused this makeup to separate and look patchy?
From looking at the ingredients, the one size primer looks to be fairly oil heavy (kinda weird for a mattifying product but whatever), while the Sephora foundation is very much silicone based, and sometimes using products that don't match up in that way can cause patchiness and separating. Just a theory though
Yeah - that's wierd... but some primers really don't like other foundations 🤷🏾♀️
In Patrick’s video explaining how to use it, he says that you only need a small amount in the areas that get especially oily and gently push it in. If you put too much then it will peel
I got this launch day last year…returned it immediately!! Blush trio was nice but NO NO NO BLUR EFFECT…So I returned the Hype!! Sorry Not Sorry…🤷♀️🤷♀️
It's hard to say
😮 Your eyeshadow Ohemaa! 😍
May we have details please?
I’ll post it to shorts I promise
@@Ohemaa Thank you 😊 🙏🏽
You supposed to warm it up with your fingers because it will roll
Saw the Mario movie and as a 22yearold, I felt it was a bit intense for a kid movie. There was a kid in the row in front of me crying and screaming he wanted to go home because he was so scared by some parts. Missing actually kid friendly content I feel comfortable watching with my 5 year old cousins.
I said the same thing too. It’s not a kid movie maybe a teenager movie because it was a bit too much but I guess it’s a good thing that kids won’t understand a lot of the movie.
Sweat proof primer? Is it dry skin friendly?💕
I have super dry skin and I have it, but ive honestly had a lot of problems with the product pilling on my face. so I've only been using it on days I don't wear any blush and bronzer(I don't wear foundation, and I hardly ever wear concealer, so I usually just have cheek products on) and ive noticed it helps with my face sweating for sure. I just cant seem to figure out how to use it with my other products, including another primer. 🤷♀️
i guess it's because you missed one step. you didn't warm up the product on your fingers to activate it as per instructions. maybe that's one reason why there's a bit of a separation with your makeup.
The separation is most likely because one product is water based and the other is oil based. It could also be silicone but most likely one is water and another oil based
Not being mean … but you used too much and you rubbed not pat into skin but you are beautiful ❤
True.
I think you used too much of the product. It did say to use a dime amount and press it in. The moment I saw the amount you put I knew it wasn’t gonna be good. So maybe try it the way it says on the packaging😊
You are absolutely correct
HeyyYYYyyyYyyYyyy
Used too much 😮 less is best
Victorious Resurrection Day~Please allow me to say I did not think it was possible for me not to like any makeup look you’d do. Patrick cannot win them all and let’s applaud and give him his flowers for what he has done. Now, I don’t think it has any thing whatsoever to do with any of the products you used. I’m an oily girl as well and we will always go the distance for what works and try products that claims to work against our oils. This needs reformulating, as I’m sure you’d not like to say because you are a MUA/MUI. From the beginning I noticed the look on your skin and was reluctant still hoping that it would work.
WHICH IT DID NOT❗️Nothing personal whatsoever, my honest opinion. I was so taken aback because your outcomes always leave us gasping in awe of how you make it all work. There was not any more you could do better, here.
No you put waaay too much of the primer on and you put it on wrong. Patrick said to not really rub it in and not to use sooo much due to a little goes a long way. You have to pat it in and only a little bit
I see. I tried it again aaaaand …..
*She applies the product at **3:29*
Thanks for the timestamp
Used too much.
Definitely believe I did
"Oily Skin Woman Tries ONE SIZE Secure The Sweat Primer" what kind of title is that? Smh
