Thanks for the video. It will save me a lot of time searching when the time comes. I thought that cartridge filters were the only ones used nowadays and elements went out with button boots!
Morning Derek. First things first.... How's Freda? Doing well I hope. Great video as always. Always a good watch. Lacking in the "DRY Humour" department today...If u don't mind me saying..... .. 😂😂 Have a great weekend. Alan L200
Morning Alan. Freda is doing much better, thank you. Mind you, I think I paid for Freda's operation through the car park fees! Yes, it was humourless, sorry. It is quite a dull job! Happy Weekend to you too!
The complete turbo, number two, is oozing oil into the engine, but, at only half the rate of the first one! Not had time to change it for the genuine 2nd-hand one yet.
Look forward to the video..... As the saying goes....."Third time lucky" fingers crossed for you. You definitely deserve it to b ok on the third one. Alan
@@sleepycatpictures1176 Oh, man, I'm very sorry to hear that. Don't bother I'll figure it out how to do it. Here's beer from me🍺🍺, relax and enjoy. Cheers🍻

Me too! It was quite a surprise. The petrol engines use the normal cartridge!
@@sleepycatpictures1176 It's not that the paper element ones are any cheaper either.
@@ronnieg6358 Nope!
Nice clear video. Little bit more fiddly than my previous diesels but no problem. Thanks👍
Happy to help!
That was incredibly helpful! Now I can get mine sorted, thank you!
Good! It's not as bad as it looks.
Nice clear video. Thanks 👍🏽
Thank you!
Good Job thanks 👍
Thanks 👍🏴🤪

DONT get me started on "Hospital car parking fees".....ABSOLUTELY SCANDALOUS a blight on the NHS.
Good to hear Freda is improving.

@@AlanL200Truckman Totally agree!
Bugger me. I'm glad I watched this before I got the tools out. I've got to get a 27mm socket first. Cheers.
More tools . . . Can't have enough tools!
27mm for oil filter
22mm for sump plug
Derek
Talking of "Drippage" how's the turbo holding up or not as the case maybe?

@@AlanL200Truckman Thank you. It'll be a short video, after all, people should have a good idea on how to change a turbo by now! I certainly do!
Hey, man, can you do a video of how to remove the hood cowl on ford fusion 1.4 tdci. Thanks.
Sounds like the kind of job I would like to avoid!! Arthritis is hindering my movements at the moment. Maybe later.

@@dzoole Cheers my friend!
How much oil goes into this Ford Fusion
1,4 engine, 3.75litres. With Ford's EFL filter - 3.80 litres. 1.6 engines - 4.25 litres. Or with Ford's EFL 10 filter - 4-10 litres.
