  • In this tutorial on the Mac automation app Keyboard Maestro I cover how to use variables to create powerful macros. As an example, I make a macro that tweets a link to the song I'm listening to on Spotify.

Great content. Helps a lot to get familiar with Keyboard Maestro. Rebuild it and instead of tweeting the content, I added a notification that is not showing up. Any idea?

The apple script helped you a lot in telling if the music was playing or not. What if for example I wanted to see if a particular tab in iterm2 is connected to a particular server or not, how do I go about doing that ? Can you make a tutorial on that, would help us all command line folks.

Harry, you mention links to written tutorials but I can't see them here. Otherwise, these are great tutorials.
