SHINING EVEN BRIGHTER
Some fans of the first Radian® 2.0m motor glider loved it so much, they added lights to continue flying at night. The E-flite® team took note and added vividly colored, factory-installed LEDs throughout the airframe, offering the visibility and orientation needed to fly at dusk or even in total darkness with the original Night Radian. Now they've improved the popular model again by updating it with a modern, higher-visibility trim scheme and upgrading it with a telemetry-capable ESC. I have the old version - without SAFE - and it's a cracking ship, so relaxing to fly. It's good enough to hunt out lift and stay aloft for at least half an hour on a single charge (3s 1000mah), much longer if there's good lift.
I fly it most evenings sitting with a beer to wind down at the end of a hard day's work. Don't bother with a timer, just plug in a voltage alarm, and you can fly safely till it beeps. Seeing it drift against the setting sun is magical.

Yes this is indeed a great looking plane for sure , great for night flying and early mornings as the wind is relatively low at them times , hence this make the RC hobby a relaxing and beautiful thing to do, ...

I think really my friend.
The small child trapped in my 50+ body, the child that filled his PC with RGB lights and a model Porsche 911, this child just loves the lightshow! That glider is so graceful and the time of day was perfect. I think the pumping is nose heavy plane with trimmed up elevator. I may be wrong but I'd put the elevator neutral and try again and see if she really is nose heavy. If so, try a 1300mAh; that's all I use in my Radian Pro.
You said it great my friend. And the second flight was perfect, no more pumping becouse I used 1800mAh batterie. This 2200 was just too heavy.
O.K. This is on my "wish-list" now. Beautiful glider.

This one is really amazing. Iam flying it so many times. And it loves really good wind.
With glide I get 90 mins it will do inverted and rolls. And if you open that throttle a vertical climb good flight... Salute to you both

I have tried that on the second filming. Loops and inverted. Works great. Love this bird.

Very nice - just want to say you need to make sure that the horizontal Stabiliser is secured very well - the tape they provide is not good enough - I have seen a lot go into the ground as the Tape can give way without warning... Very nice relaxing experience Big Salute from UK Cambridgeshire -

I use Blenderm Tape, sticks like crazy.

Very nice video/flight Captains! I have all but the original floppy wing one which i believe still glides better than the newer ones. We had a gentleman in our club who was found dead/sleeping i mean on one of our big tables in the pits/flight line with his transmitter on his chest and his plane up in the sky circling with a slight turn to the left in case he fell asleep or lost signal due to being bad and flying over allowed AMA rules480 ft i m thinking. The other club member couldn't believe his eyes woke the sleeping pilot and the glider was landed without incident. lol omg love the lights on these newer Radians flying with friends nightly w/different color schemes is very fun too. "I was born ready" by Capt Blaz was funny got a good laugh from it! Keep em coming guys your videos r the best !!!!!

Great job guys. The radian is a fantastic glider. Lots of mods needed to get this baby perfect. The whole issue of porpoising can be found on how the stabilizer is mounted by the factory. Slight mod to this will help get the PERFECT CG.
I got perfect CG on the second flight with 1800mAh batterie. No more pumping. Glides forever.

10/10!!! Perfect plane, perfect setting, and perfect flying....it gets no better than that, boys...really. Oh, and about the porpoising or pumping, sometimes that can also be because you don't have enough windspeed and it's going into a slight stall....my little gliders do the same thing. :)

what an awesome cool plane !!! you need to try that in the dark it is really cool . we had the first Radian at our field and put light strips on it and flew after dark. people would see it from the highway and come and watch it fly !
I will go one day in total dark.
@@PetrincicBrosRC look forward to that video . Make sure you have like a green light on one wing tip and a red light on the other wing tip to distinguish which direction the plane is headed and it's orientation it helps !

Should be able to put the lights into the last/spare channel in ur reciever. Then put that channel to a switch, (i like switch "I"). Then, Everytime u push the bind button, u get a different type of light mode😁👍

A 1,300-1,350mah 3s battery is all you need and perfect CG for gliding. I get 20-35 minute flight times always and still land with too much battery remaining.
Mine also tends to porpoise when I’m a bit tail heavy which still happens even from a 1,350mah batt. A little more to the front perfect!
I went with 1800mAh and feels perfect. No more pumping.
Looks interesting might have to try one of these
