  • You will probably have already noticed that I love running and racing with AfterShokz bone conduction headphones. Full transparency: I am sponsored by AfterShokz UK and have been using the Aeropex headphones for the past 6 months. This isn't a comprehensive review of all the features, just the main features that I enjoy most and how I use them within my own training and racing.

I bought Titanium’s earlier this year best purchase ever. Able to use them on any race I have entered this year. Listen to music mainly some podcasts. Moby Raining Again is a brilliant track especially when it’s raining

I’ll have to try a pair out soon! Thanks for the insight Harry and wishing you a merry Christmas

I love running with my Areopex, the sound is great and they fit so well. I was using them today and passed a runner who had wired earbuds in, the cable was flapping about and she almost shouted hello to me as I passed. I like running with the dog, so with the Aftershokz I can give directions to the dog and not feel I am shouting at her, it’s also great hearing the sounds around as you run and obviously hearing traffic makes life much safer.

Nice - i always have no music for first 50 km and then use music or a podcast as a treat in an ultra....really gives you a huge bust. No wires etc is a big bonus with the AA -

I never run with music/audio, even on my ultra's! Maybe I love the the masochisticness of ultra's too much :P but it's the same as caffeine, I don't want to be dependent on an external source for a boost. Maybe one day I'll give it a go, as I know how much of a boost it could give someone. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Harry, enjoy the festive holidays :) Marc

I have a pair of Aftershocks and love them. They are great when running on the trails. It allows me to listen to music and still hear the MTBers before they come up behind me. I’ll have to try the newer version to experience the sound difference.

Listening to this on my AfterShokz Aeropex

I got my Aeropex with Strava challenge for half the price. Never gone back to classic headphones ever since on my runs. The full retail price is overshot tbh but if you can afford it you won’t be disappointed.

Looks like the new minis would fit you better. They're only in black rn but that'll surely change

Very happy with my Aftershokz, I have a music playlist with good beats to run to when fresh, but when tired the music I usually like gets irritating and I want to throw them in the bushes! Any suggestions for type of music, or perhaps I'll try podcasts...

Watching your videos from the start and finally caught up! Great stuff man. My favorite music to listen to on a run is a pop punk band called The Story So Far.

How are they during phone calls? I have the Titaniums and people on the other end of phone calls say the sound is horrible.

I had the AfterShokz Treck Airs before but returned them because they weren't loud enough and there was virtually no high end whatsoever. I hope these sound better

HARwinsOUTagain Huge improvement over Trekz Titanium. Can’t compare to Airs though.

The new drivers in the Xtrainerz and the Aeropex sound a bit better than the Airs. My experience is that there's no *low* end on either. The new ones are both cleaner and less distorted. I reviewed the xtrainzerz on my channel and have a representative sound sample. In short though, these still aren't audio[hile headphones, but they're improved. 👍

A couple of months ago I bought some Havit "True wireless Sports Headphones". I read a brilliant review that praised their ability to stay in the ears. Well, it just doesn't work for me. 🤔
After your video I might try to buy Aftershokz Aeropex in stead.

I prefer having a manual to their tutorial. Tutorial is ok but I like to have it on my phone.

Man I'm such a blatant fanboy for Aftershokz. I've been using the Trekz Airs for a couple years, and recently the XTrainerz, and they're just do good. One of the few products that just lives up to exactly what I hope.
