I mean eating a living being raw is basically more deadly since our genetic code is slowly turning away from raw food because we dont need them since we found that cooking food made our food more easily to digest and absorb nutrients so the more we evolve the more cooked foods we prefer and should eat compared to raw

tough it is true cooking has made absorbing nutrients from food much easier on top of killing many parasites and bacteria in the process

I love how Kabru is just there along with the members of Laios' party even though nobody invited him
He's just as important, like for the latter half of the manga his story with the canaries is basically the b-plot while Laios is still in the dungeon

I know but I found it funny because Shuro and Namari are there as well and they don't do much outside of the Falin Chimera and Undine fights so I just assumed they were showing off the pre-dragon party before Kabru showed up.

I genuinely can't remember the last time i vibed this hard with an anime. It almost feels like it was made for me specifically. I'm already looking forward to watching it again
I definitely feel the same way! The characters, their dynamic, the humor, etc. It's got me feeling nostalgic for some reason lol. High re-watchability quality.
Happy to see so many anime watchers vibe with this series. The manga is easily one of my all-time favorites and I'm glad to see it's been adapted so well thus far. Plenty of great moments in the story to come and I certainly hope we get a second season to close it all out!

@@joyc.e.7511 I quite agree. Nowadays, there are only a few anime that catch my eyes. Like Bocchi the rock, The Apothecary Diaries and Dungeon Meshi.
They combined Over The Garden Wall with DnD and Hell’s Kitchen and turned it into an anime and I LOVE IT

one subtle thing i liked is that all 4 unintroduced parties at 1:00 are all advancing in different directions! it's nothing much, but i like how it clearly indicates the separate intentions/motivations of each group

It's so nice that recently we've been getting treated with all these amazing new fantasy stories instead of the oversaturated Isekai stories that have been prolific over the years. Hopefully the success of Frieren and Dungeon Meshi shows upcoming mangaka and animation studios that classic fantasy still has a place in the modern viewership/readership.
I have high hopes for Witch Hat Atelier as well. It can be a trinity!

I love how this OP somehow covers the entire manga, despite only being used for the first quarter of the story in the anime, we get to see the Canaries, The people of the Golden Kingdom, the Winged Lion, hell, even Izutsumi makes a cameo. But none of it felt like it spoils anything.
初めて日本語で歌詞を書いた曲でも「昨日よりマシな飯が喰えたなら、今日はいい日だったと空を見上げて笑いとばしてやる」と、「生きること、食べること」を歌ってきたBUMP OF CHICKENが、ダンジョン飯のOP。
キャスティングした人に拍手を送りたい。

サビの絵と歌詞がなんだかすごくマッチしてて好きだし、終わりに向けて色んなものが一気に動く様子がゾクゾクする
Agree! In love with this opening! It's beautiful and fits perfectly with the series itself, unlike Frieren's openings, which strongly contrast with the narrative.
Making the hair move as the wind direction changes is such a simple animation trick but it's so effective for that "adventure" feeling
Love the detail that their hair doesn't sway in dungeon scenes. Nice that they included environmental storytelling just for an intro
And small, but probably significant detail that everyone else on the boat has elf ears, yet the wind moving the hair to reveal the person on the left has short ears is so good

OPEDの作画ばかり気合い入れるアニメが多い中、本編の作画が極上なのにOPEDで省エネするの圧倒的強者感あって好き
カナリア隊の後ろ姿と海風になびく髪、途中で風向きが変わって、ミスルンの切れた耳が一瞬見えるカットがたまらん。色彩構成もいいよね。
今シーズンでは絶対登場しないであろう翼獅子がワンカットだけ出ているのが、監督が原作をリスペクトしている感や、原作の最後までやりたい感などが伝わってくる

Well, the early chapter in the manga didn't have that intense feeling after all...
The real story starts from chapter 30 and above where the objective of this party is already fulfilled, to find the MC's sister corpse...
I really love this kind of op it give a feeling that you were walking in the quiet town with sunset in the background.
@@rafelt4147 The music and the visuals fit the mood of those early levels. Veterans watching scrubs fight and die and they bicker over what side of the cockatrice is the head. (The snake btw, the chicken is the tail)
@@duderei don’t think it fits. They don’t encounter that many noobs and themselves struggles because they lost their two heavier hitters and need to hunt for food. Marcille in particular is at her wackiest in the early events and becomes more reliable later on.
Also the «giants » lineup includes Kabru who keeps getting owned non stop in his early appearances. We barely even see at all fresh Shuro too, mostly his tired self.

ワイBUMPリスナー、先ほど全巻読み終え最高に「いくつかの普通が重なり合うと 時々そこには魔法が宿る」だし「あれは恐らく悪魔だった あれから醒めない夢の中」だったことに気付き号泣。
動きがないのが不満って人も多いかもだけど、曲調と世界観的にこれが大正解だよな
動きが無い分、本編に作画コスト割いてくれた方が個人的には嬉しいな

0:27 makes me weirdly emotional, the voice distortion sounds so gentle. There's something very light and comfortable about this whole opening.
Even tho the anime is a seinen series this feel a lot more refreshing to see as a lot of seinen fantasy either want to be like berserk and be griddy and glooming which berserk is on another level of writing or do the isekai route and do basically the same copy and paste isekai tropes that we see but for delicious in dungeon , it’s way different as there are some pretty dark and brutal things in the manga and anime but there this light heartiness that make the series refreshing and feel more comfy to vibe too

基本楽しげな中にどことなくシリアスとダークも混じっててまさにダンジョン飯をしっかり描いてて良き
最近アニメ一気見して、続き気になりすぎて原作も買って読んだ人間だけど
アニメ勢にネタバレにならないOPだけど原作勢は頭抱えるOPで流石に天才。
原作の良さを最大限引き出して、アニメーションだからできる表現で視聴者を魅了していてとても良い。
こんな原作に寄り添ったイメージの素敵なOP久しぶりに見る、本当に最後まで完走してほしい。
思わず叫びたくなるけど、表現しきれなくて、結局言えなくなってしまうような感情を歌にできるのがBUMP
ダンジョン飯を読了した時の感慨がそのまま思い起こされるな……

そっと添えるような歌い方とケルトな音からめっちゃダンジョン飯の雰囲気を感じてワクワクする

I feel like it's super early to show some of these characters, but at the same time I feel like the OP is doing a good job at telling anime-onlies there's more to this series than meets the eye.
Then I think bucchigiri is for you as it teases a seemingly incredibly major character in its banger opening without revealing their face. while at the same time charming his incredibly cool character design. dw about spoilers, it's an anime original. the anime might not be your cup of tea but it has been incredibly fun for me so far.

冒険、群像、欲望、生命。作中のテーマが高密度で配置されてることに気づいてから大好きになった
『冒険』がただ明るいだけじゃなくて、期待と不安が入り混じった『手繰り寄せる』って表現で締めるのも好き

アニメ見る前に原曲聴いたときアウトロで転調するのがすごく好きだったから、OPサイズでもそこまで入ってるのがめちゃくちゃ嬉しかった…！！
転調するのって盛り上がるところとか強調したいところだと思ってるから、この曲が大事にしたいのは「曲を聴いた後」なんだろうなって
曲の後に待っているもの、アニメ本編と、聴いた人の人生
初めてみた時は全然動かなくて地味だなと思ったけど、何回も見るうちにこの雰囲気こそダンジョン飯だよねとなってくるの凄い
巨人の様に全員がたくましくて 勢揃いしてるシーン本当にカッコイイし

The fact that they all have their eyes closed in the first part is such a little detail that, for me, gives such a strong sense of wonder and instrigue. Marvellous OP, can´t watch it enogh times.
Could be reading too much into it, but I think it has to do with them waking up and being forced to see who they really are as the dungeon pushes and tests them.
Might be me reading too much into it after finishing the manga though.

特にこの曲はAメロから静かに始まるので動きがない方が聴きやすく合っていると思います。

ダンジョン飯の主題歌としても最高だし、作品抜きに音楽的にBUMPの一つの曲としても最高。

このOPとEDは原作の一巻から最終巻を読んだ時の気分にさせてくれる。2曲合わせてダンジョン飯の全てを内包してると思う。どちらも好き。

「Sleep Walking Orchestra」の題名通りにみんな目はつぶっていてもどこか1歩ずつ歩き進んでいる感じがそのままopに再現されててすごい良い
アニメ全話見終わった後にまたこのオープニングを見てほしい。凄い伝わると思う。
