Akbar Ali is his Shagird and also his nephew. They come from a very humble family and doing a great service to classical music. Ustad Mubarak Ali consider Ustad Ameer Ali Khan his spiritual guru but he initially learned musics from his chaha Ustad ghazanfer ali Khan 😊
I am very fortunate to listen to this jugalbandi by chance.What a performance and perfect videography with great sound quality.Vocal jugalbandi performers are far and few now a days.It is so pleasing to listen to such high quality vocalists keeping our Hindustani musical heritage alive.Akbar Ali Sahib seems to have taken a big challenge in this very difficult field of music.
