I skate. But I love Penny boards. I don't care what all of these 11 year olds with scooters and skateboards that they can hardly gain speed on think, these are my favorite boards to cruise with. So smooth and fast, feels like gliding.

I personally LOVE penny boards their small so you can go anywhere. Secondly, theur super smooth. Thirdly, their pretty cheap for everytjing ON it

Penny boards are great to use if you need to get to a skate spot but there is rough roads. Penny boards go really fast even on asphalt

You use a steadicam with the normal camera. its not a separate camera...
+LookItsElliott! no it's not a steady cam. it's the canon XA 20 which seems to have some auto stabilization as part of it. what you're seeing in the shadow is the microphone receiver for the mic that aaron has attached to his shirt.

My friend has one of those, they are very small for a regular sized guy to ride on, but I noticed the bearings in them are amazing and you can go crazy fast on it
I bought myself a Nickel Board today (larger version of the penny board) and its awesome!
my regular board is fantastic for the skatepark und street spots, but to cruise with it is a pain, swapping wheels is annoying and its too big and heavy to carry around comfortably, so I absolutely recommend a Penny or Nickel (same company) if you want a mini cruiser, that is durable and fun to ride anywhere and that you can store in your backpack when you are done.

Dude I'm 13 but I skate like it's 1975. I can spin on Penny boards pretty well, especially If I replace the wheels with something harder. (Spinning being manual 360's)

Honestly, I dont know why there is so much hate on penny boards. They are not "gay" or used only by "posers". Fuck, even Casey Neistat and Ben Brown use penny boards in their videos, and no one hates on them.

It's because people like to see others fail and want confirmation that their own board is the best. The number of times now that I've been told that learning tricks let alone learning on a 22" is too hard... Shows how much dedication those people really have.

Was skating Penny Boards 30 years ago...still have one!! Great for cruising around and a couple of tricks, but definitely better for cruising around.
I remember a particular infamous 70's era psychedelic swirly colored penny board which some of the colors would subsequently crack and chip off until after a year or 2 there were gaping holes all over it.

Why do Some skaters hate penny board?
why everyone say "skate a normal board"? What is normal skateboard? First skateboards was little cruisers, back in 50`s and Penny Board is designed to be 70´s style skateboard. So learn history of skateboarding and then you can say what is normal skateboard. Sorry for my bad english. :D Those double kick boards was designed in late 80´s and still these stupid ¨normal skateboarders¨ say that they are the real skaters WTF?

So my 6yo received one of these for his birthday, he has no skateboarding experience so I was wondering if this would be easy for him to learn on as it's smaller or would a "normal" skateboard be better? I have no clue of the different names.
I have that board not with the grip tape tho but it's a nice board it doesn't really glow in the dark if u ride all day and night I mean when u go in your house after riding it for a hour it's glowing and you can easily spot it if u have any questions just feel free to ask
Ram s really smooth I have a pink and blue one and once i got used to it it's so fun to cruise round also the rubber from the wheels will wear out after a while causing you to travel faster and in just one flick of ur leg

wow i just watched maybe 80% of your videos in 2 days and I have never wanted to skate more. I havnt skated in about 10 years and want to start again but I do not have the cash. oh well. hopefully your vids will keep me satisfied till i have some cash down the road.
Do a game of skate with a normal board and normal trucks, but then put a third pair of wheel and trucks in the center of the board. So you would have 3 trucks and 6 wheels all on the bottom.
