I wanted a Bedazzler so bad in the 80s. I also wanted a crimping iron. I made some questionable choices back then like asking the hair dresser to do my hair like the woman in a Richard Marx video. So he permed my hair. I looked more like a sheep in a humid environment after he was done. Yet, I made another questionable choice to get a 2nd perm a couple of years later. I used mousse to try to get a wet look on the curls and Aqua Net and a curling iron to get a big poofball on top of my head. I'm guessing (after my other great choices) my mom was afraid I'd bedazzle the hell out of my clothing with the Bedazzler or fry my hair with the crimping iron. So I never got either one of those 80s inventions.
When I first read this comment I was signed in on my personal account and could not reply. However, the Richard Marx reference made me spit out my cold brew coffee onto my desktop. In fact, your whole comment struck my funny bone. I literally laughed out loud. I needed that! =D. xoxoxo
@@QueenOfSerene 😊 Btw, I had that mini mineral thing too. I can't remember if I got it at the NYC Natural Museum or at state museum on a school trip. I have no clue where it is now but, I held onto a bigger piece of mica all of these years. It's in my night stand. It's funny - you forget about these things, as though they never existed. And then you see them and instantly you remember having them or wanting them. I'm betting that, as the stress of this time worsens, people will look for things they had when they were kids or teens.
I’d love to see a “stay at home” hospitality basket-some ideas for stuff you could deliver to folks who can’t leave their homes right now due to age or immunodeficiencies 💖
Oh yes, please do a basket with food options!!! Personally I’d love to see some chocolate bars in there lol. I absolutely love the pretty wrappers and the sounds of the foil underneath.

I had lady head vases when I was kid, I guess they had been my mom’s or her mom’s. Then no one wanted them, you couldn’t give them away. Mine probably wound up in a goodwill donation box, or maybe even in the trash. Now when I see them in vintage shops, they usually are $70 or more….and since becoming “hot” again, they are getting more rare. You don’t need to know calligraphy style to use those pens. Just write normally, you will still get a different, more elevated and fancy look. Great deal on the Prismacolor markers!!

This is amazing, the queen blesses us again. I think a basket with vegan type items might be nice since a lot of stuff uses animal products, or like someone mentioned a hospitality basket to give to someone who is under quarantine and can’t leave their house ❤️ we adore you!
I'm older than you so when you refer to your grandma having some of these things, I think of my mom having them. My sister had the Bedazzler back in the 70s and we also had a smaller version of the woman's ceramic head that was used for toothpicks.
