Branded chalk review - Easy Grip ‘Thins’

So for my review series I figured for easy grip I’d try each of their different types of gym chalk to make it fair to them.
This one is soft enough to make making thins a little problematic but hard enough that if you get the right blocks it works out great, as you can see by the perfect splits in the video 😍😍
Crushing them was not too hard, some had a softness to them which crumbled so nicely!! They just crumbled away from the rest of the block and honestly those parts were my favourite. Some of them were firmer which is to be expected for their intended purpose.
Over all a good solid quality block that can make crushing them nice to do. Whether making thins or not.
Definitely buying again.

When I recorded this 2 months ago, EG were sold out of their soft chalk. Before this new texture was released EG had “soft” chalk and “thins” chalk. While waiting for a restock of their soft chalk, I purchased some of their “thins” to try out while waiting and, as mentioned, to give them a fair trial for my branded series, as they has different types of chalk on their site.
This was their “thins” texture. Which you can see my review for in the description. I say “was” because there is no such thing now. There is only this “new” texture for ASMR rather than “soft and thins”. I’ve also reviewed this “new” texture, which from what I’m seeing is wildly inconsistent across the board. It’s been noted by many a UK ASMRtist that we’ve been getting the hard chalk while those “across the pond” have been getting softer versions. I am currently in communication with Easy Grip to try and find out as to why this is. Cos frankly it’s unfair on us. No one was expecting a new texture. People (such as myself) were eagerly awaiting a restock of their soft chalk and instead got this “new” texture of theirs. Which wouldn’t be so bad if it was soft and consistent. Though in their defense trying to find consistency in gym chalk is like trying to find a needle in a haystack lol. Almost impossible without getting yourself pricked a few times . I’m glad you enjoyed this crush 🥰 and the birds too. I do love crushing outdoors when I can.
