Nice explanation. I have 1 question. Can we do any other paint over bitumen paint. And if yes, after how many and which paint can be done over bitumen paint.

Yes, it's possible to apply other types of paint over bituminous paint, but there are some considerations to keep in mind. Bituminous paint forms a durable and waterproof coating, but its surface can be challenging for other paints to adhere to directly due to its oily and non-porous nature. However, with proper preparation, it's feasible to apply additional paint layers over bituminous paint.
Here's how you can do it:
Surface Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly to remove any dirt, dust, or debris. Additionally, roughen the surface slightly with sandpaper to improve adhesion.
Priming: Apply a suitable primer designed to enhance adhesion to bituminous surfaces. A primer specifically formulated for use over bituminous coatings will provide the best results.
Choice of Paint: Select a paint that is compatible with the primer and suitable for the intended surface. Acrylic or latex-based paints are often recommended for use over bituminous coatings due to their flexibility and adhesion properties. Avoid using oil-based paints, as they may not adhere well to the bituminous surface.
Application: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the chosen primer and paint regarding application methods, drying times, and environmental conditions.
Number of Coats: Apply the recommended number of coats of paint to achieve the desired coverage and finish. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one.
