I got mine and waiting for 2 more from Amazon in a few months… I did pay a little extra for the one I got but 100% worth it, already one of my top figure of the year contenders for me if not the figure of the year… he kinda reminds me of like… idk like our version of Buzz Lightyear… he’s got his chest tablet comparable to buzz’s arm communicator he’s full of good gear… got that cool cut…his helmet… he’s ready for anything… I think it’s good what he comes with, could he have had a little more… maybe a blast effect for his rifle… Hasbro did good with this one.. plenty of reuse but done very well with some new add ons.. this is exactly what I’ve been wanting from this line
The CM that's in the sand on the art is from a comic book where snake eyes was in a helicopter that was hit about to crash, and he saved scarlet and had his face blown off. When they finally landed, snake eyes with carrying scarlet with his face on fire. They were gonna quit the mission, but he wrote in the sand CM. Charley, Mike, continue mission. It was a great comic should look it up.
My only issue with this mold is that the front butterfly joint are cut to shallow so they cant easiily 2 hand a pistol the back butterfly joints are cut deep enough which is very annoying
Very excited about this figure! Joe team hit this one out of the park. Paint scheme pay homage to classic, and the updates look fantastic. Can’t wait to get mine. Bobby, I like the way you think. Standard issue weapons. Being someone who served, this concept makes so much sense, then you just add on top of it with extra(character specific) accessories. Who knows, maybe one day(I hope your listening Hasbro team) we can’t get a armory pack. Thank you for the review.

Can you head-swap Grunts head onto Falcon? A quick video would be nice. I can't stomach Falcon's face. Refuse to buy unless I can find a replacement head. Excellent video!
Me too, I bought Dusty, just 4 his head, a lil fingernail polish remover the camo is gone and the heads are swappable, I believe. If not, some tacky will take care of it.
E-4 is the pay grade, the rank is either specialist, or corporal, at CPL, Graves would be a junior NCO. So... that was a weird choice from the joe team, no one wears their pay-grade in the Army, personally, I'd like to think someone played a prank on Graves and he got tricked into getting a patch for his pay grade instead of this rank, or maybe it's like an inside e-4 mafia joke within the Steel Corps. It's also pretty funny to think that Graves is probably skating out of meetings, safety briefs, PT, barracks maintenance, and just generally avoiding doing anything that doesn't involve the shooting range or actual combat.
Your head sculpt looks way better that another reviewers. His was terrible. Like his face was fatter and massive jaw. Totally made it look like the Falcon sculptor struck again. I hope mine looks like yours. LOVE the cartoon gun. So glad they are adding it. I was 3D printing my own. Same with the Cobra one.
Grunt looks freaking awesome. The first time I saw him I thought he looked okay but the more I see this figure the more I would like to have more than just the one I've preordered
As a proud former member of the E-4 mafia, i can say almost anyone with enough time and motivation can become an E-4. Although I did know a dude who spent his entire military "career" never being able to make it past PFC lol.

It's not bad to have some army backup for your main characters. Though Grunt has his name tag on his vest. Defeating the idea you can troop build this figure.
I'm glad I don't have to choose between Action Force and Classified because both have strengths and weaknesses. But ultimately it feels like both companies push and learn from one another. Great review Bee
While I won’t army build him I am picking him up for the original 14 group of GI joe characters and having him with the Steel Corp head makes me want to put him next to the Valaverse Steel Brigade to have a blend of both army builders together.
I got this guy on the way expecting it sometime this week… and got 2 more preordered off Amazon so yea I’m building a little team with grunt.. I went ahead and picked up rock n roll… his helmet fits my selfie series head which is great! I love they went with a softer plastic for the helmets too, I tried the one breaker came with and that was too small.. definitely agree… if anyone at hasbro is watching this for feedback… do make these selfie series compatible… I’ll try my one I got with snake eyes to see if it the head pops on but I highly doubt it… I’ll definitely pick up another if it comes with this figure…change my expression to a more serious look.. and be part of my little Joe team… right now my snake eyes me I have set up like a cyber punk type character.. sorta ghost in the shell neon noir based… if they went ahead and made grunt a selfie series character then I really would be a part of the Joe team

Awesome figure! I'll aim to get like four. It's nice to get basic green good guys and the steel corps helmet looks great for army building. I'm in the Canadian infantry, so I'm not sure but I remember the Americans having their flags reversed. Is that generally the case across the board in the US military?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the stars always go forward, where applicable, which means that on the left sleeve it will appear normally, but on the right it will appear backwards.
Crazy that this is $11.99 at Target , everywhere else is $24.99 . GIJoes showing up at Ollie’s ( non in Cali) , wow , is Hasbro is something else 😂. I’m out , overpriced crap with gummy weapons, PFP is more $$$. They’ll still pack the factory rejects cuz you can’t see what your buying. Good luck fellas , buyer Beware, I feel bad for people who overpaid to get this Hasbro crap early

There's a small pouch on the back of his holster belt you can put Grunt's M16 mag on that small pouch

Am I the only one that has always thought the standard Joe gun is like a "modern" m1 garand, and the standard Cobra gun is like a "modern" mp40?

He looks very cartoony like Shipwreck when compared to characters like Dusty and Duke.
