    Another good one Jeremy. While I would guess much of this may be in the manuals, a lot of people find it much easier to learn from seeing how to do it, and then hearing the results. And if necessary, can pause, rewind and watch again. Your clear instructions are so much more effective than even the best written manual.

    • @JeremySee
      @JeremySee  Před 4 lety

      Hope all is well with you Bryan. Manuals are often written by technicians and engineers which may not translate well with new users. I hope my videos can help more people enjoy their instruments.

    Hello! Using the pad or layering, Is it possible
    to sustain a single chord all throughout a
    song which is a string type while playing
    certain chord progressions for a song? For
    example, the song is in key of D. I'd like to
    sustain that chord D with a string which is a
    nonotone all throughout the song.

    • @jeffeason3599
      @jeffeason3599 Před 2 měsíci

      I think the only way to do that on this keyboard might be to play an octave of D’s with your left hand and hold that as your monotone while you played the other chords above it with your right hand.

  • @johnny5805
    @johnny5805 Před 2 lety

    How do you toggle on/off the orchestration and effects channels, so that your accompaniment is say, just bass riff and drums ? This would be useful for when you are trying to create, say, a guitar lead line over a loop. On the PSS480 it was as simple as a single button press.

    • @jeffeason3599
      @jeffeason3599 Před 2 měsíci

      Playing a style without the ACCOMP on will play the drum track only. But that is the only individual style track you can select. The rest of the accompaniment tracks are either all on or all off together. This inexpensive keyboard does not have the feature that will allow you to play/mute individual tracks/parts of the accompaniment. So you cannot choose to play only the bass track of the accompaniment along with the drum track. If you want to do that you will need to look at a more expensive keyboard with more features.

    Does a Yamaha psr e360 have a loop function?

    • @jeffeason3599
      @jeffeason3599 Před 2 měsíci

      The PSR E360 did not have this feature. The latest version of this line is the PSR E383 and it DOES have SOME pretty good preprogrammed chord patterns which can be looped. However those chord patterns are limited to what Yamaha has provided. You cannot edit them or create your own chord patterns. The only change you can make to them is to transpose those patterns to another key. But that’s a great new feature for a $200USD keyboard!
