I've just had an operation on broken humerus which broke on 3 pieces and was treated same way. 30cm long nail with 7mm diameter from top of the humerus head to the bottom connecting all the pieces together.
It was interesting to see the process of the operation.
Recovery hurts like hell and is long term but hopefully i will be like old me. Fingers crossed.

I had the same thing happen to me in March of this year. Broke 3 places and had same surgery. Started physical therapy in April doing good but 3 weeks ago now my shoulder is locked . Therapist said to continue home exercises and stretching till I see my doctor which is August. Sleep is a problem and getting very frustrated!!!
