Stop being on YT and keep on yodelin’, ya hippabilly. I appreciate your sound, man. Teach me how to sing lol 😂 And come play Charlotte, not just Asheville like every other music person.
Hurley is a genius. Back in 1975, although I had never heard of him, I saw this LP in a cut-out bin and bought it just because his cover artwork was so wacky. After listening to it one time I was hooked. This album is incredible!
In 1979 I found "Have Moicy" in a record store in Tacoma and loved the cover and wanted it for that alone. and so the topless dancer I was hanging with bought it for me. I was a fan from the start of the first cut, Midnight in Paris (mostly Jeffery Fredricks), but have been enjoying Micheal Hurley ever since. When I was a high school science teacher, I used to play "I don't care x3" for my class at the end of the period and they loved it.
Thanks...….yeah, I think I'll nab one of his reissues, or 3, or 4. Oh, also, watch the Picathon vid with him and My Bubba......my God what lovely ladies...jeeeesh
I wonder which version mr hurley prefers, this one or Blue Navigator, I like the guitar tone on Blue Navigator, but the harmonies in the chorus on this one are just great
@@blueherringjw93 2 years late, but someone got them for me as a gift. they had to order it from overseas apparently. i made a CD rip but haven't uploaded it anywhere. i'd aught to, keep your eyes on TPB
I was today years old when I realized this is a cover of Tom O’Neal’s “Blue Endless Highway”, look it up! Both are truly amazing
You got a bit of Hurley in Yee.

Is there a rip of this album anywhere without the record pops? Everything I can find online is relatively poor quality
I couln'd find them either, but I'm starting to love the warming atmosphere the record pops gives the song.
