Having a hard time getting this down. Are your (k) notes being played simultaneously with the L or are they linear, like RLK? Or is the paradiddle diddle being played swung?
Hi! Cool you’re working on this! Hands = 8th note triplets Feet = straight 8th notes (Or 16th note triplets vs straight 16th notes if you want) Yes, if you remove the hi hat the pattern is linear: R LKR R LKL ! The bass drums plays between the hands Hands plays 6 equally spaced notes R L R R L L over 4 equally spaced notes with feet {} K {} K See my old “Bonham tension” videos where I demonstrate this slower
@@bonhamalsowaltzes1601 thanks. I’ll check out the other videos. I think I see it now. The kicks are landing between the hands when hands are played as 8th note triplets. Wow, this really exposes some independence weaknesses I have 🤣.
@@bonhamalsowaltzes1601 I would like to post more videos but just haven’t had the time. The youtube world is so saturated with drum videos it’s tough to be noticed these days. I found your stuff after watching BONZOLEUM’s channel
Been wondering how this was done for ages. Excellent work! How does this not have more likes? It's pure gold.
Nice comment, thank you!

@@wdrummer79 yes that’s it! And it is tricky, usually we don’t mix subdivisions like this.
Btw are you planning to post some more drum videos??

@@wdrummer79 True it is tough, YT is full of great drumming content that deserves more attention. I’m lucky I got the shoutouts from Bonzoleum
