Things don't get settled down after Ibrahim Pasha's death.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah isn't a friend. She challenges her enemies after having Suleiman in her corner. She lays on entertainment in the harem as it's still being mourned for İbrahim Pasha. This drives Hatice to distraction. As Mihrimah gets disappointed by Yahya of Taşlıca's attitude, Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey returns in İstanbul. He informs Suleiman that it will be attempted to assassinate him. Hatice vows vengeance against Hürrem and gets Diana in the harem to kill her.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah has different aims and doesn't wait for too long to get her claws out. She lays on entertainment in a harem after a short time İbrahim died. Hatice loses her temper after learning this and comes into the harem to stop it.
Malkoçoğlu gets attacked on his way to the capital. However, he and his men manage to get over the attack. On the other hand, the effect of İbrahim's death continues. The Pope thinks that Suleiman is left alone and takes an action to end him.

Esmehan was nothing but kind and a good friend to her, which makes mihrimah's treatment of her afterwards totally unjustifiable, she brought upon herself esmehan's anger and desires for some payback

The historical Bali Bey was born in 1495 like the sultan. So he was about 27 years older than Mihrimah. Even between him and Aybige was obviously a big age difference. If you look at the acting of Burak Özchivit / Bali Bey opposite Aybige, I think the scriptwriters and the actor were fully aware of this point.
