...it's almost like out of the 100 syllables in Japanese, only a single one ends on a consonant sound ("N"). Man, I wonder what happens when they write out an English word that ends on a hard "k" consonant sound, and they have to write it as ke instead..oh they pronounce it like ke go fucking figure.
Man I am so shocked, haha, the simplest aspects of language constantly astonish and confuse me, haha look at how they said cake the literal way it was spelled haha

@@Xanderj89 the literal way it's spelled in english, as it's not the same in spanish, the phonetics of the vowels in both spanish and japanese is similar so that's why I'm commenting that, the way to write "cake" in japanese is ケーキ which would be written as "ke-ki" in romaji, with english pronunciation it wouldn't make sense but with the spanish one it does.
Also, words with a hard "k" or "ck" at the end end up with a "ku" sound usually, things like black (buraku), mark (ma-ku), dock (dokku).
Notice also the difference in the way they're spelled in romaji even though it's practically the same sound at the end, it's pretty interesting to see it happening.

@@LexNoxus Clippers are people, and thus are capable of mistakes. Once again you can clearly see exaclty this line on the screen, where they have Japanese version of lyrics (21:41, just next to 冗談ですよ). And that's exactly what she was saying, and it was translated by Craftarc correclty.
Another small mistake is at 2:47 where she says 'これ歌詞なんかな' which means 'Is this a lyrics?' though it was translated as 'Is this cash?'
But, once again, we're all people and we make mistakes. Craftarc-san did a great job.

First Subnautica, now the Portal Series, I absolutely love that not only is she playing these games but loving them as well. I love that these girls get to play the games we enjoyed years ago, that they probably wouldn't of touched otherwise under different circumstances.

When you realised Portal's lore is tied with Half-Life's lore which make both of them a really deep lore.
I wish Marine would play Half-Life series too, she would understand why the ending referencing to "Black Mesa"

I just realized, this song had the same vibe of 'Monika's Your Reality' before DDLC even was a thing.
Similar vibe but monika's song is bittersweet while glados songs are like one last sarcastic quip at the player
Every couple years or so, I end up seeing this sequence for some reason, and every single time, I forget how direct the hints are about _Half-Life 2,_ the Combine and how Chell might be better off stuck in the test chambers for the rest of her life.
That there are still people experiencing Portal for the first time in 2021... warms my heart.

My friend decided to show me the final level of Portal the day it came out before I bought it, and so, having been spoiled on GladOS nature, I spent the entire companion cube level expecting it to kill me, so I think I may be the only person who has no attachment to it. Even Marine remembered it fondly.
It's a shame Marine probably doesn't understand the references, since this game is set in the Half-Life universe. I remember seeing concept art for HL3 that was supposed to connect the two together.
