Arma 3 is essentially military simulation legos. People can create any mission they want. The possibilities are endless with the gane.

With ignus they have a interesting experience with the physics engine to say a few examples of having velichles too close will cause them to explode or a light bump will launch a dude into orbit
Just in case you’re curious the Spartan-III where war orphans that were told they could get revenge on the Covenant for killing their families and where sent on suicidal missions were every single Spartan super soldier died the entire Spartan-III class where consider expandable child soldiers
Alpha and Beta companies were almost completely wiped out with Beta only have 2 survivors from their last company wide mission. There is an unknown amount of Gamma company Spartans still active. There are possibly still a few hundred S III’s still active.

@@pawsvtuberdismay leave you conflicted but he's a little incorrect about that , long story short there is multiple marks of Spartan armor there is a scientist chick named Halsey who built it for the UNSC which is the main part of the Marines that you see in the halo games .
Basically what happened during the beginning first two generations of this armor were children were being kidnapped their bodies were cloned but the clones had an intentional disease that caused the clones to die that night so the parents would never know that their child was cloned and think that the child is dead , while the child has a very high chance of dying because they're being scientifically augmented on by halsey's work which is dedicated towards saving humanity by modifying the human body to be capable of wearing the equivalent of an exo suit that can attach to your nerves as well as hold an AI that can directly speak to you .
Middle generation 3 is pretty much where this dude's explanation on the armor kicks in

basically you can imagine these arma operations as a giant roleplaying game with a very small group of game masters that create and control the narrative and enemies and a huge group of players, in this case as the spartans, going through the narrative roleplaying a military operation, in this case in the halo universe
This is a mod for a bit of an older game, ArmA 3. Specifically, the mod is putting Halo stuff into ArmA. The mission is based on a book based on the game Halo. It's a lot of layers to know in order to figure out what's going on.
Being alive in ingis corp is optional, being bodies to throw at the target is nornal and being used as a sandbag after death is common. Who needs tactics when you have numbers, brute force and good ol spite :)

Spartan-III were created by ONI(Office of Navel Intelligence) Sec 3 as a way to "trade lives for time". They would recruit war orphen ages 4-6 with looser gentic traits than the Spartan-II and be train on the planet Onyx.
in total 930 Spartan-III were created and devided into 3 compaines with Alpha and Beta have 300 and Gamma haven 330. Alpha was wiped out on a mission to detroy a manufacuring plant behind enemy lines. They were succecsful but were cut off from the extract and all died. Beta suffer a similer fate, however 2 of them, Tom and Lucy, succesfully escape after completing their mission, thou the experence left them both tramamtized. Gamma was the last group to be created, most of ther fate is unknown with the only knowed deaths being about 8-10 Spartan-III killed and another 6 in suspended animation.
all this information comes from the novel Halo: Ghost of Onyx, thou i recommend reading Halo: First Strike before that as Ghost of Onyx is somewhat of a sequal to that novel and has alot of tie-in to that one

The difference between Spartan generations
Spartan 1s - humanities first attempt to create super soldiers with chemical and genetic augmentations, project was mostly a failure with few that turned out as intended like Sergeant Johnson. Results was used as the base for later iterations
Spartan 2s- originally intended as a overkill means of dealing with the insurrection problem the canadates were kidnapped children who had unique genetic markers, genetically and cyberneticly augmented and the first to wear mjnior armor
Spartan 3s, a more mass producable Spartans using war orphans and give them less invasive augments with the last batch given a secret augment that turns them into berserkers that need a special drug to remain calm.
Spartan 4s- the culmination of the Spartan project that now turn selected adults , not as powerful as the 2s or 3s without mjnior armor but easier to produce with much more survivalble augmentations
ARMA III is a magical platform where the possibilities are only as limited as your server maker's demented schemes, and what mods you can get running at the same time
Think of it as a milsim shooter crossed with dungeons and dragons, where you have a load of people running and dying while two or three people are gleefully throwing down entire armies with the goal of severely reducing the living population of the server, and you're on the right track

The game has a mode I believe called “Zeus”. If you’ve ever played or heard of Dungeons and dragons, it’s like the game master/dungeon master of the game. The rest of the players are the characters on the ground while the Zeus makes the mission in real time. The game is also old at this point. The engine is dated, and the frame-rate shows.

I'm glad to have discovered their content, very fun and entertaining person (and group of friends)
These events are essentially roleplaying, but also reenacting scenarios which are canon to Halo (as best as they can) where the result is predetermined. Similarly to their Warhammer 40K events which are even more insane than the Halo ones with the roleplaying going that extra mile. They do way more than those two, such as Terminator, SCP and rogue Ai's waging war on humanity and the game masters (ZEUS) do all the work with the ai and any special events which are triggered based on objectives passed.
But the ZEUS's also contend with ARMA being ARMA - where 90% of the time vehicles are cursed. It is hilarious, even though at times it makes their life harder while running events with respawning vehicles or moving people around when it happens.
C4 is electronically triggered you just need to send the charge
Driving vehicles in places where they don't belong is just a halo thing, completely natural

Arma has been the base game for a few large mods, I think PUBG started out as an ARMA zombie survival mod before it broke off on its own.
I know Dayz was a ARMA 2 (i think it was 2) Zombie survival mod that broke off, idk about PUBG

@@pacificace20nope both DayZ and PUBG were both arma mods:
1. DayZ was introduced and modded into Arma 2 and they brought it to A3 which then the devs Bohemia Interactive hired the modders to make DayZ with the prototype build of Enfusion engine
2. PUBG was a mod for Arma 3 that later on became a standalone BR game. You can still find the mod in the workshop and I don’t think DayZ is part of the dependencies 🤔

Arma 3 is the best shit in my book the amount of things you could do and make is bigger than the entire history mankind.....
There's Star Wars, War hammer 40k, Halo, And many other stuff. You can also create any scenarios you want whether its "The Second battle of Fallujah", "World War Zombies" or Just the dumbest shit you could ever think of. It is the best game I have ever played.

Arma 3 is a wonderful game, but I can’t recommend to anyone except people who are very into military simulators. It’s really complicated and isn’t very forgiving, making it not very good for casual players.
Should watch sovietwomble's arma3 bullshittery first to understand what is arma 3 coop is.
