My old school tying wire tool was pliers. Things have changed since the 80's. You are a successful contractor.

    Wall turned out great.
The word for the residue left behind- if you don’t acid wash- is called efflorescence, that what the acid is washing off.
    Keep up the good work

I didn't see the concrete buggy dump over in your last video, I don't think it made the video . . . This is a nice looking retaining wall, I like the exposed aggregate look. Extremely nice job!

As a concrete tester I've seen many a rookie blow out a wall - rookies like to pour the full height of the wall before moving down the line 😂😂

That wall is going nowhere fast! Precision result from meticulous preparation - as always! Great job guys.

That is a tough one to pull off perfectly. The corner cracked before you got a chance to cut it. Looks good overall though.

@@JustaKarenDiscoveredTheIntrnet 16:18 and before that and after it you can see it. It's on the top of the wall coming out of the left side of the relief cut

I once went to help a co-worker pour 6 steps. He framed everything nicely in 1/2" plywood, Sad to say it did not go well. Total loss when the plywood let go.

How do you finish the back of the wall?

  • @JustaKarenDiscoveredTheIntrnet

what does a job like this roughly cost if u dont mind divulging

Why so little steel between the base and the wall, and inside the wall?

Usually a fan of your work, if you’re being honest this one got away from you. If you’re sponging a finish, it’s too late for retardant. Just hose rinse the same day. Thanks for sharing, not everything goes perfectly.

@@RHEC1776 you are like every other typical ignorant hack. Now tell me how much money you have. I own the landscape business, do this work daily, in Washington this would be a R&R, or a refund and horrid reviews. Rock pockets throughout, cream didn’t rinse clean, crack formed @ 90. If you were actually in the business, you know these things happen. It would have also failed inspection with form oil on rebar. This is why you don’t see exposed aggregate retaining wall anymore, the risk is too great. Keep lying about your accomplishments.
