  • In Texas, the Juvenile Justice Department only has jurisdiction over a child until their 19th birthday. So what happens in cases where the crime demands a punishment that extends beyond that date?     At that parole hearing, if the judge decides not to release them, can they reduce their sentence?

    what about agg ausault with deadly weapon and gets realeased off probation at 18 . Will he still be a felon , after completeing determinate sentencing probation?
